For I knowe the thoughtes, that I haue thought towards you, saith the Lorde, euen the thoughtes of peace, and not of trouble, to giue you an ende, and your hope.

Ezek 34:11-31 : 11 For thus sayeth the Lorde God, Beholde, I will search my sheepe, and seeke them out. 12 As a shepherd searcheth out his flocke, when he hath bene among his sheepe that are scattered, so wil I seeke out my sheepe and wil deliuer them out of all places, where they haue beene scattered in the cloudie and darke day, 13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countreis, and will bring them to their owne lande, and feede them vpon the mountaines of Israel, by the riuers, and in all the inhabited places of the countrey. 14 I will feede them in a good pasture, and vpon the hie mountaines of Israel shal their folde be: there shall they lie in a good folde and in fat pasture shall they feede vpon the mountaines of Israel. 15 I will feede my sheepe, and bring them to their rest, sayth the Lord God. 16 I will seeke that which was lost, and bring againe that which was driue away, and will binde vp that which was broken, and will strengthen the weake but I wil destroy the fat & the strong, and I will feede them with iudgement. 17 Also you my sheepe, Thus saieth the Lorde God, behold, I iudge betweene sheepe, & sheepe, betweene the rammes and the goates. 18 Seemeth it a small thing vnto you to haue eaten vp the good pasture, but yee must treade downe with your feete the residue of your pasture? and to haue drunke of the deepe waters, but yee must trouble the residue with your feete? 19 And my sheepe eate that which yee haue troden with your feete, and drinke that which ye haue troubled with your feete. 20 Therefore thus sayth the Lorde God vnto them, behold, I, euen I wil iudge betweene the fat sheepe and the leane sheepe. 21 Because ye haue thrust with side and with shoulder, & pusht al the weake with your hornes, till ye haue scattered them abroade, 22 Therefore wil I helpe my sheepe, and they shal no more be spoyled, & I wil iudge betweene sheepe and sheepe. 23 And I wil set vp a shepherd ouer them, and he shall feede them, euen my seruant Dauid, he shal feede them, and he shalbe their shepherd. 24 And I the Lord will be their God, and my seruant Dauid shalbe the prince amog them. I the Lord haue spoken it. 25 And I will make with them a couenant of peace, and will cause the euil beastes to cease out of the land: and they shal dwel safely in the wildernesse, and sleepe in the woods. 26 And I wil set them, as a blessing, euen roud about my mountaine: and I will cause rayne to come downe in due season, & there shalbe raine of blessing. 27 And the tree of the fielde shal yeeld her fruite, and the earth shall giue her fruite, and they shalbe safe in their land, and shal know that I am the Lord, when I haue broken the cordes of their yoke, & deliuered them out of the hands of those that serued themselues of them. 28 And they shall no more be spoyled of the heathen, neither shall the beastes of the land deuoure them, but they shal dwell safely and none shal make them afrayd. 29 And I will rayse vp for them a plant of renoume, & they shalbe no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither beare the reproche of the heathen any more. 30 Thus shall they vnderstande, that I the Lorde their God am with them, and that they, euen the house of Israel, are my people, sayth the Lord God. 31 And yee my sheepe, the sheepe of my pasture are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord God.
Jer 3:12-19 : 12 Goe and crie these woordes towarde the North and say, Thou disobedient Israel, returne, sayeth the Lorde, and I will not let my wrath fall vpon you: for I am mercifull, sayeth the Lord, and I will not always keepe mine anger. 13 But knowe thine iniquitie: for thou hast rebelled against the Lord thy God, & hast scattered thy waies to the straunge gods vnder euery greene tree, but yee woulde not obey my voyce, sayeth the Lord. 14 O yee disobedient children, turne againe, sayeth the Lorde, for I am your Lorde, and I will take you one of a citie, and two of a tribe and wil bring you to Zion, 15 And I will giue you pastours according to mine heart, which shal feede you with knowledge and vnderstanding. 16 Moreouer, when yee be increased and multiplied in the land, in those daies, saieth the Lorde, they shall say no more, The Arke of the couenant of the Lorde: for it shall come no more to minde, neither shall they remember it, neither shal they visite it, for that shalbe no more done. 17 At that time they shal cal Ierusalem, The throne of the Lord, & all the nations shall be gathered vnto it, euen to the Name of the Lorde in Ierusalem: and thence foorth they shal followe no more the hardnesse of their wicked heart. 18 In those daies ye house of Iudah shall walke with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the lande of the North, into the lande, that I haue giuen for an inheritance vnto your fathers. 19 But I sayde, Howe did I take thee for children and giue thee a pleasant lande, euen the glorious heritage of the armies of the heathen, and saide, Thou shalt call mee, saying, My father, and shalt not turne from me?
Jer 31:1-9 : 1 At the same time, saith the Lorde, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people. 2 Thus saith the Lord, The people which escaped the sworde, founde grace in the wildernes: he walked before Israel to cause him to rest. 3 The Lord hath appeared vnto me of old, say they: Yea, I haue loued thee with an euerlasting loue, therefore with mercie I haue drawen thee. 4 Againe I will builde thee, and thou shalt be builded, O virgine Israel: thou shalt stil be adorned with thy timbrels, and shalt goe foorth in the dance of them that be ioyfull. 5 Thou shalt yet plant vines vpon the mountaines of Samaria, and the planters that plant them, shall make them common. 6 For the dayes shall come that the watchmen vpon the mount of Ephraim shall cry, Arise, and let vs go vp vnto Zion to the Lord our God. 7 For thus saith the Lord, Reioyce with gladnesse for Iaakob, and shoute for ioye among the chiefe of the Gentiles: publish praise, and say, O Lord, saue thy people, the remnant of Israel. 8 Beholde, I will bring them from the North countrey, and gather them from the coastes of the world, with the blinde & the lame among them, with the woman with childe, and her that is deliuered also: a great companie shall returne hither. 9 They shall come weeping, and with mercie will I bring them againe: I will lead them by the riuers of water in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my first borne. 10 Heare the worde of the Lord, O ye Gentiles, and declare in the yles afarre off, and say, Hee that scattered Israel, wil gather him and wil keepe him, as a shepheard doeth his flocke. 11 For the Lorde hath redeemed Iaakob, and ransomed him from the hande of him, that was stronger then he. 12 Therefore they shall come, and reioyce in the height of Zion, and shall runne to the bountifulnes of the Lord, euen for the wheat and for the wine, and for the oyle, and for the increase of sheepe, & bullocks: and their soule shalbe as a watered garden, and they shall haue no more sorow. 13 Then shall ye virgine reioyce in the dance, and the yong men and the old men together: for I wil turne their mourning into ioy, and wil comfort them, and giue them ioy for their sorowes. 14 And I wil replenish the soule of the Priests with fatnesse, and my people shalbe satisfied with my goodnesse, saith the Lord. 15 Thus saith the Lord, A voyce was heard on hie, a mourning and bitter weeping. Rahel weeping for her children, refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. 16 Thus saith the Lorde, Refraine thy voyce from weeping, and thine eyes from teares: for thy worke shalbe rewarded, saith the Lord, and they shall come againe from the land of the enemie: 17 And there is hope in thine ende, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come againe to their owne borders. 18 I haue heard Ephraim lamenting thus, Thou hast corrected me, and I was chastised as an vntamed calfe: conuert thou me, and I shalbe conuerted: for thou art the Lord my God. 19 Surely after that I conuerted, I repented: and after that I was instructed, I smote vpon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, euen confounded, because I did beare the reproch of my youth. 20 Is Ephraim my deare sonne or pleasant childe? yet since I spake vnto him, I still remembred him: therefore my bowels are troubled for him: I wil surely haue compassion vpon him, saith the Lorde. 21 Set thee vp signes: make thee heapes: set thine heart towarde the path and way, that thou hast walked: turne againe, O virgine of Israel: turne againe to these thy cities. 22 How long wilt thou goe astray, O thou rebellious daughter? for the Lorde hath created a newe thing in the earth: A woman shall compasse a man. 23 Thus saith the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, Yet shall they say this thing in the land of Iudah, and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring againe their captiuitie, The Lorde blesse thee, O habitation of iustice and holy mountaine. 24 And Iudah shall dwell in it, and all the cities thereof together, the husbandmen and they that goe foorth with the flocke. 25 For I haue saciate the wearie soule, and I haue replenished euery sorowfull soule. 26 Therefore I awaked and behelde, and my sleepe was sweete vnto me. 27 Beholde, the dayes come, saith the Lorde, that I will sowe the house of Israel, and the house of Iudah with the seede of man and with the seede of beast. 28 And like as I haue watched vpon them, to plucke vp and to roote out, and to throw downe, and to destroy, and to plague them, so wil I watch ouer them, to build & to plant them, saith ye Lord. 29 In those dayes shall they say no more, The fathers haue eaten a sowre grape, and the childrens teeth are set on edge. 30 But euery one shall die for his owne iniquitie: euery man that eateth the sowre grape, his teeth shalbe set on edge. 31 Beholde, the dayes come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new couenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Iudah, 32 Not according to ye couenant that I made with their fathers, when I tooke them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, the which my couenant they brake, although I was an husband vnto them, saith the Lord. 33 But this shall be the couenant that I will make with the house of Israel, After those dayes, saith the Lord, I will put my Lawe in their inward partes, and write it in their hearts, and wil be their God, and they shalbe my people.
Hos 14:2-9 : 2 (14:3) Take vnto you words, & turne to the Lord, and say vnto him, Take away all iniquitie, and receiue vs graciously: so wil we render the calues of our lippes. 3 (14:4) Asshur shal not saue vs, neither wil we ride vpon horses, neither will we say any more to the worke of our handes, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherlesse findeth mercie. 4 (14:5) I wil heale their rebellion: I wil loue them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. 5 (14:6) I will be as the dewe vnto Israel: he shall grow as the lilie and fasten his rootes, as the trees of Lebanon. 6 (14:7) His branches shall spread, and his beautie shalbe as the oliue tree, and his smel as Lebanon. 7 (14:8) They that dwel vnder his shadow, shal returne: they shall reuiue as the corne, and florish as the vine: the sent thereof shalbe as the wine of Lebanon. 8 (14:9) Ephraim shal say, What haue I to doe any more with idoles? I haue heard him, and looked vpon him: I am like a greene firre tree: vpon me is thy fruite founde. 9 (14:10) Who is wise, and he shall vnderstande these things? and prudent, and he shall knowe them? for the wayes of the Lorde are righteous, and the iust shall walke in them: but the wicked shal fall therein.
Joel 2:28-32 : 28 And afterward will I powre out my Spirit vpon all flesh: and your sonnes & your daughters shall prophecie: your olde men shall dreame dreames, and your yong men shal see visions, 29 And also vpon the seruants, and vpon the maydes in those dayes wil I powre my Spirit. 30 And I will shewe wonders in the heauens & in the earth: blood & fire, & pillars of smoke. 31 The sunne shalbe turned into darkenesse, and the moone into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come. 32 But whosoeuer shal call on the Name of the Lord, shalbe saued: for in mount Zion, and in Ierusale shalbe deliuerance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant, whom the Lord shal call.
Hos 2:14-23 : 14 Therefore beholde, I will allure her, and bring her into the wildernesse, and speake friendly vnto her. 15 And I will giue her her vineyardes from thence, and the valley of Achor for the doore of hope, and shee shall sing there as in the daies of her youth, and as in the daies when shee came vp out of the land of Egypt. 16 And at that day, sayeth the Lord, thou shalt call me Ishi, and shalt call me no more Baali. 17 For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall be no more remembred by their names. 18 And in that day wil I make a couenant for them, with the wilde beasts, and with the foules of the heauen, and with that that creepeth vpon the earth: and I will breake the bowe, and the sworde and the battell out of the earth, and will make them to sleepe safely. 19 And I wil marry thee vnto me for euer: yea, I will marry thee vnto me in righteousnes, and in iudgement, and in mercy and in compassion. 20 I will euen marry thee vnto me in faithfulnes, and thou shalt knowe the Lord. 21 And in that day I wil heare, saith the Lord, I will euen heare the heauens, and they shall heare the earth, 22 And the earth shall heare the corne, & the wine, and the oyle, and they shall heare Izreel. 23 And I will sowe her vnto me in the earth, and I will haue mercie vpon her, that was not pitied, and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; they shal say, Thou art my God.
Zech 12:5-9 : 5 And the princes of Iudah shall say in their hearts, The inhabitants of Ierusalem shall be my strength in the Lord of hostes their God. 6 In that day will I make the princes of Iudah like coles of fire among the wood, and like a fire brand in the sheafe, and they shall deuoure all the people round about on the right hand, and on the left: and Ierusalem shall be inhabited againe in her owne place, euen in Ierusalem. 7 The Lord also shall preserue the tents of Iudah, as afore time: therefore the glorie of the house of Dauid shall not boast, nor the glorie of the inhabitants of Ierusalem against Iudah. 8 In that day shall the Lord defende the inhabitants of Ierusalem, & he that is feeble among them, in that day shall be as Dauid: and the house of Dauid shall be as Gods house, and as the Angel of the Lord before them. 9 And in that day will I seeke to destroy all the nations that come against Ierusalem. 10 And I will powre vpon the house of Dauid, and vpon the inhabitants of Ierusalem the Spirite of grace and of compassion, and they shall looke vpon me, whom they haue pearced, and they shall lament for him, as one mourneth for his onely sonne, and be sorie for him as one is sorie for his first borne.
Isa 40:1-9 : 1 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, will your God say. 2 Speake comfortably to Ierusalem, and crye vnto her, that her warrefare is accomplished, that her iniquitie is pardoned: for she hath receiued of the Lords hand double for all her sinnes. 3 A voyce cryeth in the wildernesse, Prepare ye the way of the Lord: make streight in the desert a path for our God. 4 Euery valley shall be exalted, and euery mountaine and hill shall be made lowe: and the crooked shalbe streight, & the rough places plaine. 5 And the glory of the Lord shalbe reueiled, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. 6 A voyce saide, Crie; he saide, What shall I crie? All flesh is grasse, and all the grace thereof is as the floure of the fielde. 7 The grasse withereth, the floure fadeth, because the Spirite of the Lorde bloweth vpon it: surely the people is grasse. 8 The grasse withereth, the floure fadeth: but the worde of our God shall stand for euer. 9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee vp into the hie mountaine: O Ierusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift vp thy voyce with strength: lift it vp, be not afraide: say vnto the cities of Iudah, Beholde your God. 10 Beholde, the Lorde God will come with power, and his arme shall rule for him: beholde, his rewarde is with him, and his worke before him, 11 He shall feede his flocke like a shepheard: he shall gather the lambes with his arme, & cary them in his bosome, and shal guide them with young. 12 Who hath measured the waters in his fist? and counted heauen with the spanne, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure? and weighed ye mountaines in a weight, and the hilles in a balance? 13 Who hath instructed ye Spirit of the Lord? or was his counseler or taught him? 14 Of whom tooke he counsell, and who instructed him and taught him in the way of iudgement? or taught him knowledge, and shewed vnto him the way of vnderstanding? 15 Beholde, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the dust of the balance: beholde, he taketh away the yles as a litle dust. 16 And Lebanon is not sufficient for fire, nor the beastes thereof sufficient for a burnt offering. 17 All nations before him are as nothing, and they are counted to him, lesse then nothing, and vanitie. 18 To whom then wil ye liken God? or what similitude will ye set vp vnto him? 19 The workeman melteth an image, or the goldsmith beateth it out in golde, or the goldesmith maketh siluer plates. 20 Doeth not the poore chuse out a tree that will not rot, for an oblation? he seeketh also vnto him a cunning workeman, to prepare an image, that shall not be moued. 21 Know ye nothing? haue ye not heard it? hath it not bene tolde you from the beginning? haue ye not vnderstand it by the foundation of the earth? 22 He sitteth vpon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grashoppers, hee stretcheth out ye heauens, as a curtaine, and spreadeth them out, as a tent to dwell in. 23 He bringeth the princes to nothing, and maketh the iudges of the earth, as vanitie, 24 As though they were not plated, as though they were not sowen, as though their stocke tooke no roote in the earth: for he did euen blow vpon them, and they withered, and the whirlewinde will take them away as stubble. 25 To whom nowe will ye liken me, that I should be like him, saith the Holy one? 26 Lift vp your eyes on hie, and beholde who hath created these things, and bringeth out their armies by nomber, and calleth them all by names? by the greatnesse of his power & mightie strength nothing faileth. 27 Why sayest thou, O Iaakob, and speakest O Israel, My way is hid from the Lorde, and my iudgement is passed ouer of my God? 28 Knowest thou not? or hast thou not heard, that the euerlasting God, the Lorde hath created the endes of the earth? he neither fainteth, nor is wearie: there is no searching of his vnderstanding. 29 But he giueth strength vnto him that fainteth, and vnto him that hath no strength, he encreaseth power. 30 Euen the yong men shall faint, and be wearie, and the yong men shall stumble and fall. 31 But they that waite vpon the Lord, shall renue their strength: they shall lift vp the wings as the eagles: they shall runne, and not be wearie, and they shall walke and not faint.
Zeph 3:14-20 : 14 Reioyce, O daughter Zion: be ye ioyfull, O Israel: be glad and reioyce with all thine heart, O daughter Ierusalem. 15 The Lorde hath taken away thy iudgements: hee hath cast out thine enemie: the King of Israel, euen the Lord is in the middes of thee: thou shalt see no more euill. 16 In that day it shalbe said to Ierusalem, Feare thou not, O Zion: let not thine handes be faint. 17 The Lord thy God in the middes of thee is mightie: hee will saue, hee will reioyce ouer thee with ioye: he will quiet himselfe in his loue: he will reioyce ouer thee with ioy. 18 After a certaine time will I gather the afflicted that were of thee, and them that bare the reproch for it. 19 Beholde, at that time I will bruise all that afflict thee, and I will saue her that halteth, and gather her that was cast out, and I will get them praise and fame in all the landes of their shame. 20 At that time wil I bring you againe, & then wil I gather you: for I wil giue you a name & a praise among all people of the earth, when I turne backe your captiuitie before your eyes, saith the Lorde.
Jer 30:18-22 : 18 Thus saith the Lorde, Beholde, I will bring againe the captiuitie of Iaakobs tentes, and haue compassion on his dwelling places: and the citie shalbe builded vpon her owne heape, and the palace shall remaine after the maner thereof. 19 And out of them shall proceede thankesgiuing, and the voyce of them that are ioyous, and I will multiplie them, and they shall not bee fewe: I will also glorifie them, and they shall not be diminished. 20 Their children also shall be as afore time, and their congregation shall be established before me: and I will visite all that vexe them. 21 And their noble ruler shall be of themselues, and their gouernour shall proceede from the middes of them, and I will cause him to draw neere, and approche vnto me: for who is this that directeth his heart to come vnto mee, saith the Lorde? 22 And ye shall be my people, and I will bee your God.
Zech 8:14-15 : 14 For thus sayth the Lorde of hostes, As I thought to punish you, when your fathers prouoked me vnto wrath, sayth the Lord of hostes, and repented not, 15 So againe haue I determined in these daies to doe well vnto Ierusalem, and to the house of Iudah: feare ye not.
Zech 1:6 : 6 But did not my wordes and my statutes, which I commanded by my seruants ye Prophets, take holde of your fathers? and they returned, and sayd, As the Lord of hostes hath determined to doe vnto vs, according to our owne wayes, and according to our workes, so hath hee dealt with vs.
Ezek 39:1-9 : 1 Therefore, thou sonne of man, prophecie against Gog, and say, Thus sayeth the Lorde God, Behold, I come against thee, O Gog, ye chiefe prince of Meshech and Tubal. 2 And I will destroy thee and leaue but the sixt part of thee, and will cause thee to come vp from the North partes and will bring thee vpon the mountaines of Israel: 3 And I will smite thy bowe out of thy left hand, and I will cause thine arrowes to fall out of thy right hand. 4 Thou shalt fal vpon the mountaines of Israel, and all thy bands and the people, that is with thee: for I will giue thee vnto the birdes and to euery feathered foule and beast of the fielde to be deuoured. 5 Thou shalt fall vpon the open fielde: for I haue spoken it, sayth the Lord God. 6 And I will sende a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell safely in the yles, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord. 7 So will I make mine holy Name knowen in the middes of my people Israel, and I will not suffer them to pollute mine holy Name any more, and the heathen shal knowe that I am the Lord, the holy one of Israel. 8 Beholde, it is come, and it is done, sayeth the Lord God: and this is the day whereof I haue spoken. 9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel, shall goe forth, and shall burne and set fire vpon the weapons, and on the shieldes, and bucklers, vpon the bowes, and vpon the arrowes, and vpon the staues in their handes, and vpon the speares, and they shall burne them with fire seuen yeeres. 10 So that they shall bring no wood out of the fielde, neither cut downe any out of the forestes: for they shall burne the weapons with fire, and they shall robbe those that robbed them, and spoyle those that spoyled them, sayeth the Lorde God. 11 And at the same time will I giue vnto Gog a place there for burial in Israel, euen the valley whereby men go towarde the East part of the sea: and it shall cause them that passe by, to stoppe their noses, and there shall they bury Gog with all his multitude: and they shall call it the valley of Hamon-Gog. 12 And seuen moneths long shall the house of Israel be burying of the, that they may clense the land. 13 Yea, all the people of the lande shall burie them, and they shall haue a name when I shall be glorified, saith the Lord God. 14 And they shall chuse out men to goe continually through the lande with them that trauaile, to bury those that remaine vpon ye ground, and clense it: they shall search to the ende of seuen moneths. 15 And the trauailers that passe through the land, if any see a mans bone, then shall he set vp a signe by it, till the buriers haue buried it, in the valley of Hamon-Gog. 16 And also the name of the citie shalbe Hamonah: thus shall they clense the land. 17 And thou sonne of man, thus sayeth the Lorde God, Speake vnto euery feathered foule, and to all the beastes of the fielde, Assemble your selues, and come gather your selues on euery side to my sacrifice: for I do sacrifice a great sacrifice for you vpon the mountaines of Israel, that ye may eate flesh, and drinke blood. 18 Ye shall eate the flesh of the valiant, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of the weathers, of the lambes, and of the goates, and of bullockes, euen of all fat beastes of Bashan. 19 And ye shall eate fat till you be full, and drinke blood, till ye be drunken of my sacrifice, which I haue sacrificed for you. 20 Thus you shalbe filled at my table with horses and chariots, with valiant men, and with al men of warre, sayth the Lord God. 21 And I wil set my glory among the heathe, and all the heathen shall see my iudgement, that I haue executed, and mine hand, which I haue layed vpon them. 22 So the house of Israel shall knowe, that I am the Lord their God fro that day and so forth. 23 And the heathen shall knowe, that ye house of Israel went into captiuitie for their iniquitie, because they trespassed against me: therefore hid I my face from them, and gaue them into ye hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. 24 According to their vncleannes, and according to their transgressions haue I done vnto the, and hid my face from them. 25 Therefore thus sayth the Lord God, Nowe will I bring againe the captiuitie of Iaakob, and haue compassion vpon the whole house of Israel, and wil be ielous for mine holy Name, 26 After that they haue borne their shame, & all their transgression, whereby they haue transgressed against me, whe they dwelt safely in their land, and without feare of any. 27 When I haue brought them againe from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies landes, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations, 28 Then shal they know, that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captiuitie among the heathen: but I haue gathered them vnto their owne land, and haue left none of them any more there, 29 Neither wil I hide my face any more from them: for I haue powred out my Spirit vpon the house of Israel, sayth the Lord God.
Hos 3:5 : 5 Afterward shall the children of Israel conuert, and seeke the Lorde their God, and Dauid their King, and shall feare the Lord, and his goodnes in the latter dayes.
Zech 9:9-9 : 9 Reioyce greatly, O daughter Zion: shoute for ioy, O daughter Ierusalem: beholde, thy King commeth vnto thee: he is iust and saued himselfe, poore and riding vpon an asse, and vpon a colt the foale of an asse. 10 And I wil cut off the charets from Ephraim, and the horse from Ierusalem: the bowe of the battel shalbe broken, & he shal speake peace vnto the heathen, & his dominion shalbe from sea vnto sea, & from the Riuer to the end of the land. 11 Thou also shalt be saued through the blood of thy couenant. I haue loosed thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water. 12 Turne you to the strong holde, ye prisoners of hope: euen to day doe I declare, that I will render the double vnto thee. 13 For Iudah haue I bent as a bowe for me: Ephraims hand haue I filled, and I haue raised vp thy sonnes, O Zion, against thy sonnes, O Grecia, and haue made thee as a gyants sword. 14 And the Lord shalbe seene ouer them, and his arrowe shal go forth as the lightning: and the Lord God shal blowe the trumpet, and shal come forth with the whirlewindes of the South. 15 The Lord of hostes shall defend them, and they shal deuoure them, and subdue them with sling stones, and they shall drinke, and make a noyse as thorowe wine, and they shalbe filled like bowles, and as the hornes of the altar. 16 And the Lord their God shal deliuer them in that day as the flocke of his people: for they shall be as the stones of the crowne lifted vp vpon his land. 17 For howe great is his goodnesse! and howe great is his beautie! corne shall make the yong men cherefull, and newe wine the maides.
Mic 7:14-20 : 14 Feed thy people with thy rod, the flocke of thine heritage (which dwell solitarie in the wood) as in the middes of Carmel: let them feede in Bashan and Gilead, as in olde time. 15 According to the dayes of thy comming out of the lande of Egypt, will I shewe vnto him marueilous things. 16 The nations shall see, and be confounded for all their power: they shall lay their hande vpon their mouth: their eares shall be deafe. 17 They shall licke the dust like a serpent: they shall mooue out of their holes like wormes: they shalbe afraide of the Lord our God, & shall feare because of thee. 18 Who is a God like vnto thee, that taketh away iniquitie, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage! He reteineth not his wrath for euer, because mercie pleaseth him. 19 He will turne againe, and haue compassion vpon vs: he will subdue our iniquities, and cast all their sinnes into the bottome of the sea. 20 Thou wilt perfourme thy trueth to Iaakob, and mercie to Abraham, as thou hast sworne vnto our fathers in olde time.
Rev 14:8-9 : 8 And there followed another Angel, saying, Babylon that great citie is fallen, it is fallen: for she made all nations to drinke of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 9 And the third Angel followed them, saying with a loude voyce, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receiue his marke in his forehead, or on his hand, 10 The same shall drinke of the wine of ye wrath of God, yea, of the pure wine, which is powred into the cup of his wrath, and he shalbe tormented in fire and brimstone before the holy Angels, and before the Lambe. 11 And the smoke of their torment shall ascend euermore: and they shal haue no rest day nor night, which worship the beast and his image, and whosoeuer receiueth the print of his name. 12 Here is the patience of Saints: here are they that keepe the commaundements of God, and the fayth of Iesus. 13 Then I heard a voyce from heauen, saying vnto me, Write, The dead which die in the Lord, are fully blessed. Euen so sayth the Spirit: for they rest from their labours, and their workes follow them. 14 And I looked, and behold, a white cloude, and vpon the cloude one sitting like vnto the Sonne of man, hauing on his head a golden crowne, and in his hand a sharpe sickle.
Mic 5:4-7 : 4 And he shall stand, and feed in the strength of the Lord, and in the maiestie of the Name of the Lord his God, & they shal dwel still: for now shal he be magnified vnto the ends of the world. 5 And hee shall be our peace when Asshur shall come into our lande: when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seuen shepheardes, and eight principall men. 6 And they shall destroy Asshur with the sword, & the land of Nimrod with their swordes: thus shall he deliuer vs from Asshur, when hee commeth into our lande, and when he shall tread within our borders. 7 And the remnant of Iaakob shalbe among many people, as a dewe from the Lord, and as the showres vpon the grasse, that waiteth not for ma, nor hopeth in the sonnes of Adam.
Amos 9:8-9 : 8 Beholde, the eyes of the Lord God are vpon the sinfull kingdome, and I will destroy it cleane out of the earth. Neuerthelesse I will not vtterly destroy the house of Iaakob, saith the Lord. 9 For loe, I will command and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corne is sifted in a sieue: yet shall not the least stone fall vpon the earth. 10 But all the sinners of my people shall dye by the sword, which say, The euill shal not come, nor hasten for vs. 11 In that day will I raise vp the tabernacle of Dauid, that is fallen downe, and close vp the breaches therof, and I will rayse vp his ruines, and I will builde it, as in the dayes of olde, 12 That they may possesse the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, because my Name is called vpon them, sayeth the Lorde, that doeth this. 13 Behold, the dayes come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall touche the mower, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seede: and the mountaines shall drop sweete wine, and all the hilles shall melt. 14 And I will bring againe the captiuitie of my people of Israel: and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabite the, and they shall plant vineyardes, and drinke the wine thereof: they shal also make gardens, and eate the fruites of them. 15 And I wil plant them vpon their land, and they shall no more bee pulled vp againe out of their lande, which I haue giuen them, sayeth the Lord thy God.
Ezek 36:1-9 : 1 Also thou sonne of man, prophesie vnto the mountaines of Israel, & say, Ye mountaines of Israel, heare the word of the Lord. 2 Thus saith the Lord God, because the enemie hath sayde against you, Aha, euen the hye places of the world are ours in possession, 3 Therefore prophesie, & say, Thus sayth the Lord God, Because that they haue made you desolate, & swallowed you vp on euery side, that ye might be a possession vnto the residue of the heathen, & ye are come vnto the lippes & tongues of men, and vnto the reproch of the people, 4 Therefore ye mountaines of Israel, heare the worde of the Lord God, Thus sayth the Lord God to the mountaines & to the hilles, to the riuers, and to the valleys, and to the waste, and desolate places, and to the cities that are forsaken: which are spoyled & had in derision of the residue of the heathen that are round about. 5 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Surely in the fire of mine indignation haue I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which haue taken my lande for their possession, with the ioy of all their heart, and with despitefull mindes to cast it out for a pray. 6 Prophesie therfore vpon the land of Israel, and say vnto the mountaines, and to the hilles, to the riuers, & to the valleys, Thus sayth the Lorde God, Behold, I haue spoken in mine indignation, and in my wrath, because yee haue suffered the shame of the heathen, 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, I haue lifted vp mine hand, surely the heathen that are about you, shal beare their shame. 8 But you, O mountaines of Israel, yee shall shoote forth your branches, and bring foorth your fruite to my people of Israel: for they are ready to come. 9 For behold, I come vnto you, & I wil turne vnto you, and ye shalbe tilled and sowen. 10 And I wil multiply the men vpon you, euen all the house of Israel wholly, & the cities shalbe inhabited, & the desolate places shalbe builded. 11 And I wil multiply vpon you man & beast, and they shal encrease, and bring fruite, and I will cause you to dwell after your olde estate, & I will bestowe benefites vpon you more then at the first, and ye shal know that I am the Lord. 12 Yea, I wil cause men to walke vpon you, euen my people Israel, and they shall possesse you, and ye shalbe their inheritance, and ye shal no more henceforth depriue them of men. 13 Thus sayth the Lord God, because they say vnto you, Thou land deuourest vp men, & hast bene a waster of thy people, 14 Therefore thou shalt deuoure men no more, neither waste thy people henceforth, sayth the Lord God, 15 Neither will I cause men to heare in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou beare the reproche of the people any more, neither shalt cause thy folke to fal any more, saith the Lord God. 16 Moreouer the word of the Lorde came vnto me, saying, 17 Sonne of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their owne lande, they defiled it by their owne wayes, & by their deedes: their way was before me as the filthinesse of the menstruous. 18 Wherfore I powred my wrath vpon them, for the blood that they had shed in the land, and for their idoles, wherewith they had polluted it. 19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries for according to their wayes, and according to their deedes, I iudged them. 20 And when they entred vnto the heathen, whither they went, they polluted mine holy Name, when they sayd of them, These are the people of the Lord, and are gone out of his land. 21 But I fauoured mine holy Name which the house of Israel had polluted among the heathen, whither they went. 22 Therfore say vnto the house of Israel, Thus saith ye Lord God, I doe not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy Names sake, which yee polluted among the heathen whither ye went. 23 And I wil sanctifie my great Name, which was polluted among the heathen, among whome you haue polluted it, and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, sayth the Lorde God, when I shalbe sanctified in you before their eyes. 24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your owne land. 25 Then wil I powre cleane water vpon you, and ye shalbe cleane: yea, from all your filthines, and from all your idoles wil I clense you. 26 A newe heart also will I giue you, and a new spirit wil I put within you, and I will take away the stonie heart out of your body, and I will giue you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirite within you, and cause you to walke in my statutes, and ye shall keepe my iudgements and do them. 28 And ye shall dwell in the land, that I gaue to your fathers, and ye shalbe my people, & I will be your God. 29 I will also deliuer you from all your filthinesse, and I will call for corne, and will increase it, and lay no famine vpon you. 30 For I will multiplie the fruite of the trees, & the increase of the fielde, that ye shal beare no more the reproch of famine among the heathen. 31 Then shal ye remember your owne wicked wayes, & your deedes that were not good, & shal iudge your selues worthie to haue bene destroyed for your iniquities, and for your abominations. 32 Be it knowen vnto you that I do not this for your sakes, sayth the Lord God: therefore, O ye house of Israel, be ashamed, and confounded for your owne wayes. 33 Thus sayth the Lord God, What time as I shall haue clensed you from all your iniquities, I will cause you to dwel in the cities, & the desolate places shalbe builded. 34 And the desolate land shalbe tilled, whereas it lay waste in the sight of all that passed by. 35 For they sayd, This waste land was like the garden of Eden, and these waste & desolate and ruinous cities were strong, and were inhabited. 36 Then the residue of the heathen that are left round about you, shal know that I the Lord builde the ruinous places, and plant the desolate places: I the Lord haue spoken it, and wil do it. 37 Thus saith the Lord God, I will yet for this be sought of ye house of Israel, to performe it vnto them: I wil encrease them with men like a flocke.
Zech 14:20-21 : 20 In that day shall there be written vpon the bridles of the horses, The holinesse vnto the Lord, and the pottes in the Lords house shall be like the bowles before the altar. 21 Yea, euery potte in Ierusalem and Iudah shall be holy vnto the Lorde of hostes, and all they that sacrifice, shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the House of the Lord of hostes.
