Verse 15

For loe, I will make thee but small among the heathen, and despised among men.

1 Sam 2:7-8 : 7 The Lord maketh poore and maketh rich: bringeth lowe, and exalteth. 8 He raiseth vp ye poore out of the dust, and lifteth vp the begger fro the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherite the seate of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lordes, and he hath set the world vpon them.
1 Sam 2:30 : 30 Wherefore the Lorde God of Israel saith, I saide, that thine house and the house of thy father should walke before mee for euer: but nowe the Lord saith, It shall not be so: for them that honour me, I will honour, and they that despise me, shall be despised.
Ps 53:5 : 5 There they were afraide for feare, where no feare was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that besieged thee: thou hast put them to confusion, because God hath cast them off.
Obad 1:2 : 2 Beholde, I haue made thee smal among the heathen: thou art vtterly despised.
Mic 7:10 : 10 Then she that is mine enemie, shall looke vpon it, and shame shall couer her, which said vnto me, Where is the Lorde thy God? Mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be troden downe as the myre of the streetes.
Luke 1:51 : 51 Hee hath shewed strength with his arme: hee hath scattered the proude in the imagination of their hearts.
