Verse 17

For beholde, I will sende serpents, and cockatrices among you, which will not be charmed, and they shal sting you, sayth the Lord.

Deut 32:24 : 24 They shalbe burnt with hunger, and consumed with heate, and with bitter destruction: I will also sende the teeth of beastes vpon them, with the venime of serpents creeping in the dust.
Ps 58:4-5 : 4 Their poyson is euen like the poyson of a serpent: like ye deafe adder that stoppeth his eare. 5 Which heareth not the voyce of the inchanter, though he be most expert in charming.
Eccl 10:11 : 11 If the serpent bite, when he is not charmed: no better is a babbler.
Num 21:6 : 6 Wherefore the Lorde sent fierie serpents among ye people, which stung the people: so that many of the people of Israel died.
Isa 14:29 : 29 Reioyce not, (thou whole Palestina) because the rod of him that did beat thee, is broken for out of the serpents roote shal come forth a cockatrise, & the fruit therof shalbe a firy flying serpent.
Amos 5:19 : 19 As if a man did flee from a lyon, & a beare met him: or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
Amos 9:3 : 3 And though they hide them selues in the toppe of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence: and though they be hid from my sight in the bottome of the sea, thence will I commande the serpent, and he shall bite them.
Rev 9:19 : 19 For their power is in their mouths, and in their tailes: for their tailes were like vnto serpents, and had heades, wherewith they hurt.
