Verse 14

Wherefore doe I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my soule in mine hande?

Judg 12:3 : 3 So when I sawe that ye deliuered me not, I put my life in mine hands, and went vpon the children of Ammon: so the Lord deliuered them into mine handes. Wherefore then are ye come vpon me nowe to fight against me?
1 Sam 19:5 : 5 For he did put his life in daunger, and slew the Philistim, and the Lord wrought a great saluation for al Israel: thou sawest it, and thou reioycedst: wherefore then wilt thou sinne against innocent blood, and slay Dauid without a cause?
1 Sam 28:21 : 21 Then the woman came vnto Saul, & sawe that he was sore troubled, and said vnto him, See, thine handmaide hath obeyed thy voyce, and I haue put my soule in mine hande, and haue obeyed thy wordes which thou saydest vnto me.
Ps 119:109 : 109 My soule is continually in mine hande: yet doe I not forget thy Lawe.
Eccl 4:5 : 5 The foole foldeth his hands, and eateth vp his owne flesh.
Isa 9:20 : 20 And he shall snatch at the right hand, and be hungrie: and he shall eate on the left hand, and shall not be satisfied: euery one shall eate ye flesh of his owne arme.
Isa 49:26 : 26 And will feede them that spoile thee, with their owne flesh, and they shall be drunken with their owne bloode, as with sweete wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lorde am thy sauiour and thy redeemer, the mighty one of Iaakob.
Job 18:4 : 4 Thou art as one that teareth his soule in his anger. Shall the earth bee forsaken for thy sake? or the rocke remoued out of his place?
