Verse 28

Then led they Iesus from Caiaphas into the common hall. Nowe it was morning, & they themselues went not into the common hall, least they should be defiled, but that they might eate the Passeouer.

Deut 16:2 : 2 Thou shalt therefore offer the Passeouer vnto the Lord thy God, of sheepe and bullockes in the place where the Lord shall chose to cause his Name to dwell.
2 Chr 30:21-24 : 21 And the children of Israel that were present at Ierusalem, kept the feast of the vnleauened bread seuen dayes with great ioye, and the Leuites, and the Priestes praysed the Lorde, day by day, singing with loude instruments vnto the Lorde. 22 And Hezekiah spake comfortably vnto all the Leuites that had good knowledge to sing vnto the Lorde: and they did eate in that feast seuen dayes, and offred peace offrings, and praysed the Lord God of their fathers. 23 And the whole assembly tooke counsel to keepe it other seuen dayes. So they kept it seuen dayes with ioy. 24 For Hezekiah King of Iudah had giuen to the Congregation a thousande bullockes, and seuen thousand sheepe; the princes had giuen to the Congregation a thousand bullocks, and ten thousand sheepe: and many Priests were sanctified.
2 Chr 35:8-9 : 8 And his princes offred willingly vnto the people, to the Priests and to the Leuites: Hilkiah, and Zechariah, and Iehiel, rulers of the house of God, gaue vnto the Priests for the Passeouer, euen two thousand and sixe hundreth sheepe, and three hundreth bullockes. 9 Conaniah also and Shemaiah and Nethaneel his brethren, and Hashabiah and Ieiel, & Iozabad, chiefe of the Leuites gaue vnto the Leuites for the Passeouer, fiue thousand sheepe, and fiue hundreth bullockes. 10 Thus the seruice was prepared, and the Priests stoode in their places, also the Leuites in their orders, according to the Kings commandement: 11 And they slewe the Passeouer, and the Priests sprinkled the blood with their handes, and the Leuites flayed them. 12 And they tooke away from the burnt offering to giue it according to the deuisions of the families of the children of the people, to offer vnto the Lord, as it is written in the booke of Moses, and so of the bullockes. 13 And they rosted the Passeouer with fire, according to ye custome, but the sanctified things they sod in pots, pannes, and cauldrons, and distributed them quickely to all the people. 14 Afterwarde also they prepared for them selues and for the Priestes: for the Priestes the sonnes of Aaron were occupied in offering of burnt offrings, and the fat vntill night: therefore the Leuites prepared for them selues, and for the Priests the sonnes of Aaron.
2 Chr 35:17-18 : 17 And the children of Israel that were present, kept the Passeouer the same time, and the feast of the vnleauened bread seuen dayes. 18 And there was no Passeouer kept like that, in Israel, from the dayes of Samuel the Prophet: neyther did all the Kings of Israel keepe such a Passeouer as Iosiah kept, and the Priestes and the Leuites, and all Iudah, and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Ierusalem.

Jer 7:8-9 : 8 Beholde, you trust in lying woordes, that can not profite. 9 Will you steale, murder, and commit adulterie, and sweare falsely and burne incense vnto Baal, and walke after other gods whome yee knowe not? 10 And come and stande before mee in this House, whereupon my Name is called, and saye, We are deliuered, though we haue done all these abominations? 11 Is this House become a denne of theeues, whereupon my Name is called before your eyes? Ezek 45:21 : 21 In the first moneth in the foureteenth day of the moneth, ye shal haue the Passeouer, a feast of seuen dayes, & ye shal eate vnleauened bread.
Amos 5:21-23 : 21 I hate and abhorre your feast dayes, and I wil not smell in your solemne assemblies. 22 Though ye offer me burnt offrings & meat offrings, I wil not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offrings of your fat beasts. 23 Take thou away from me the multitude of thy songs (for I wil not heare the melodie of thy violes)

Matt 23:23-28 : 23 Wo be to you, Scribes and Pharises, hypocrites: for ye tithe mynt, & annyse, & cummyn, & leaue the weightier matters of the law, as iudgement, and mercy and fidelitie. These ought ye to haue done, and not to haue left the other. 24 Ye blinde guides, which straine out a gnat, and swallowe a camell. 25 Wo be to you, Scribes and Pharises, hypocrites: for ye make cleane the vtter side of the cup, and of the platter: but within they are ful of briberie and excesse. 26 Thou blinde Pharise, cleanse first the inside of the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be cleane also. 27 Wo be to you, Scribes and Pharises, hypocrites: for ye are like vnto whited tombes, which appeare beautifull outward, but are within full of dead mens bones, and all filthines. 28 So are ye also: for outwarde ye appeare righteous vnto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisie and iniquitie.
Matt 27:1-9 : 1 Vvhen the morning was come, all the chiefe Priests, and the elders of the people tooke counsell against Iesus, to put him to death, 2 And led him away bounde, and deliuered him vnto Pontius Pilate the gouernour. 3 Then when Iudas which betraied him, sawe that hee was condemned, hee repented himselfe, and brought againe the thirtie pieces of siluer to the chiefe Priestes, and Elders, 4 Saying, I haue sinned, betraying the innocent bloud. But they sayde, What is that to vs? see thou to it. 5 And when hee had cast downe the siluer pieces in the Temple, hee departed, and went, and hanged himselfe. 6 And the chiefe Priestes tooke the siluer pieces, and sayde, It is not lawfull for vs to put them into the treasure, because it is the price of bloud. 7 And they tooke counsell, and bought with them a potters fielde, for the buriall of strangers. 8 Wherefore that field is called, The field of bloud, vntill this day. 9 (Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Ieremias the Prophet, saying, And they tooke thirtie siluer pieces, ye price of him that was valued, whom they of ye children of Israel valued. 10 And they gaue them for the potters fielde, as the Lord appointed me.)
