Verse 17

Nowe the Lorde had prepared a great fish to swallowe vp Ionah: and Ionah was in the belly of the fish three dayes, and three nightes.

Matt 12:40 : 40 For as Ionas was three daies & three nights in the whales belly: so shall the Sonne of man be three daies & three nights in ye heart of the earth.
Matt 16:4 : 4 The wicked generation, and adulterous seeketh a signe, but there shall no signe be giuen it, but that signe of the Prophet Ionas: so hee left them, and departed.
Luke 11:30 : 30 For as Ionas was a signe to the Niniuites: so shall also the Sonne of man bee to this generation.
Gen 1:21 : 21 Then God created the great whales, and euery thing liuing and mouing, which the waters brought foorth in abundance according to their kinde, and euery fethered foule according to his kinde: and God sawe that it was good.
Ps 104:25-26 : 25 So is this sea great and wide: for therein are things creeping innumerable, both small beastes and great. 26 There goe the shippes, yea, that Liuiathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.
Jonah 4:6 : 6 And the Lorde God prepared a gourde, and made it to come vp ouer Ionah, that it might be a shadowe ouer his head and deliuer him from his griefe. So Ionah was exceeding glad of the gourde.
Hab 3:2 : 2 O Lord, I haue heard thy voyce, and was afraide: O Lord, reuiue thy worke in the mids of the people, in the mids of the yeeres make it knowen: in wrath remember mercy.
