Verse 4

And Ionah began to enter into the citie a dayes iourney, and he cryed, and said, Yet fourtie dayes, and Nineueh shalbe ouerthrowen.

Deut 18:22 : 22 When a prophet speaketh in the Name of the Lorde, if the thing followe not nor come to passe, that is the thing which the Lorde hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not therefore be afraid of him.
Jer 18:7-9 : 7 I will speake suddenly against a nation or against a kingdome to plucke it vp, and to roote it out and to destroy it. 8 But if this nation, against whom I haue pronounced, turne from their wickednesse, I will repent of the plague that I thought to bring vpon them. 9 And I wil speake suddenly concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdome to builde it and to plant it. 10 But if it do euill in my sight and heare not my voyce, I will repent of ye good that I thought to do for them.
Jonah 3:10 : 10 And God sawe their workes that they turned from their euill wayes: and God repented of the euill that he had said that he woulde doe vnto them, and he did it not.
2 Kgs 20:1 : 1 About that time was Hezekiah sicke vnto death: and the Prophet Isaiah the sonne of Amoz came to him, and said vnto him, Thus saith the Lorde, Put thine house in an order: for thou shalt die, and not liue.
2 Kgs 20:6 : 6 And I wil adde vnto thy dayes fiftene yere, and wil deliuer thee & this citie out of the hand of the King of Asshur, and will defende this citie for mine owne sake, & for Dauid my seruats sake.
