Verse 9

Who can tell if God will turne, and repent and turne away from his fierce wrath, that we perish not?

2 Sam 12:22 : 22 And he sayde, While the childe was yet aliue, I fasted, and wept: for I sayde, Who can tell whether God will haue mercy on me, that the childe may liue?
Ps 106:45 : 45 And he remembred his couenant towarde them and repented acoording to the multitude of his mercies,
Joel 2:13-14 : 13 And rent your heart, & not your clothes: and turne vnto the Lord your God, for he is gratious, and mercifull, slowe to anger, and of great kindnes, and repenteth him of the euill. 14 Who knoweth, is he wil returne & repent & leaue a blessing behinde him, euen a meate offring, & a drinke offring vnto ye Lord your God?
Amos 5:15 : 15 Hate the euil, and loue the good, and establish iudgement in the gate: it may bee that the Lorde God of hostes will be mercifull vnto the remnant of Ioseph.
Jonah 1:6 : 6 So the shipmaster came to him, and saide vnto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper? Arise, call vpon thy God, if so be that God wil thinke vpon vs, that we perish not.
Luke 15:18-20 : 18 I wil rise and goe to my father, and say vnto him, Father, I haue sinned against heaue, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy sonne: make me as one of thy hired seruants. 20 So hee arose and came to his father, and when hee was yet a great way off, his father sawe him, and had compassion, and ranne and fell on his necke, and kissed him.
