Verse 2

By the lot of their inheritance, as the Lord had commaunded by the hande of Moses, to giue to the nine tribes, and the halfe tribe.

Num 33:54 : 54 And ye shall inherite the land by lot according to your families: to the more yee shall giue more inheritance, and to the fewer the lesse inheritance. Where the lot shall fall to any man, that shall be his: according to the tribes of your fathers shall ye inherite.
Num 34:13 : 13 Then Moses commaunded the children of Israel, saying, This is the lande which yee shall inherite by lot, which the Lord commaunded to giue vnto nine tribes and halfe the tribe.
Num 26:55-56 : 55 Notwithstanding, the land shalbe deuided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherite: 56 According to the lot shall the possession thereof be deuided betweene many and fewe.
Ps 16:5-6 : 5 The Lorde is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou shalt mainteine my lot. 6 The lines are fallen vnto me in pleasant places: yea, I haue a faire heritage.
Prov 16:33 : 33 The lot is cast into the lappe: but the whole disposition thereof is of the Lord.
Prov 18:18 : 18 The lot causeth contentions to cease, and maketh a partition among the mightie.
Matt 25:34 : 34 Then shall ye king say to them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my father: take the inheritance of the kingdome prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
