Verse 26

And he saide vnto him, What is written in the Lawe? Howe readest thou?

Isa 8:20 : 20 To the Law, and to the testimonie, if they speake not according to this worde: it is because there is no light in them.
Rom 3:19 : 19 Now we know that whatsoeuer ye Lawe saieth, it saieth it to them which are vnder ye Law, that euery mouth may bee stopped, and all the world be subiect to the iudgement of God.
Rom 4:14-16 : 14 For if they which are of the Lawe, be heires, faith is made voide, & the promise is made of none effect. 15 For the Lawe causeth wrath: for where no Lawe is, there is no transgression. 16 Therefore it is by faith, that it might come by grace, and the promise might be sure to all the seede, not to that onely which is of the Lawe: but also to that which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of vs all,
Rom 10:5 : 5 For Moses thus describeth the righteousnes which is of the Lawe, That the man which doeth these things, shall liue thereby.
Gal 3:21-22 : 21 Is the Lawe then against the promises of God? God forbid: For if there had bene a Lawe giuen which coulde haue giuen life, surely righteousnes should haue bene by the Lawe. 22 But the Scripture hath concluded all vnder sinne, that the promes by the faith of Iesus Christ should be giuen to them that beleeue.
Gal 3:12-13 : 12 And the Lawe is not of faith: but the man that shall doe those things, shall liue in them. 13 Christ hath redeemed vs from the curse of the Lawe, made a curse for vs, ( for it is written, Cursed is euery one that hangeth on tree)
