Verse 1

There were certaine men present at the same season, that shewed him of the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

Lam 2:20 : 20 Beholde, O Lord, and consider to whome thou hast done thus: shall the women eate their fruite, and children of a spanne long? shall the Priest and the Prophet be slaine in the Sanctuarie of the Lord?
Ezek 9:5-7 : 5 And to the other he said, that I might heare, Goe ye after him through the citie, and smite: let your eye spare none, neither haue pitie. 6 Destroy vtterly the old, and the yong, and the maides, and the children, and the women, but touch no man, vpon whome is the marke, and begin at my Sanctuarie. Then they began at the Ancient men, which were before the house. 7 And he sayde vnto them, Defile the house, and fill the courtes with the slaine, then goe foorth: and they went out, and slewe them in the citie.
Matt 27:2 : 2 And led him away bounde, and deliuered him vnto Pontius Pilate the gouernour.
Acts 5:37 : 37 After this man, arose vp Iudas of Galile, in the dayes of the tribute, and drewe away much people after him: hee also perished, and all that obeyed him, were scattered abroad.
1 Pet 4:17-18 : 17 For the time is come, that iudgement must beginne at the house of God. If it first beginne at vs, what shall the ende be of them which obey not the Gospel of God? 18 And if the righteous scarcely bee saued, where shall the vngodly and the sinner appeare?
