Verse 19

And Iesus said vnto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, saue one, euen God.

Jas 1:17 : 17 Euery good giuing, and euery perfect gift is from aboue, and commeth downe from the Father of lights, with whome is no variablenes, neither shadow of turning.
Job 14:4 : 4 Who can bring a cleane thing out of filthinesse? there is not one.
Job 15:14-16 : 14 What is man, that he should be cleane? and he that is borne of woman, that he shoulde be iust? 15 Beholde, he founde no stedfastnesse in his Saintes: yea, the heauens are not cleane in his sight. 16 How much more is man abominable, and filthie, which drinketh iniquitie like water?
Job 25:4 : 4 And howe may a man be iustified with God? or how can he be cleane, that is borne of woman?
Luke 1:35 : 35 And the Angel answered, & said vnto her, The holy Ghost shall come vpon thee, and the power of the most High shall ouershadowe thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall bee borne of thee, shall be called the Sonne of God.
Luke 11:13 : 13 If yee then which are euill, can giue good giftes vnto your children, howe much more shall your heauenly Father giue the holy Ghost to them, that desire him?
1 Tim 3:16 : 16 And without controuersie, great is the mysterie of godlinesse, which is, God is manifested in the flesh, iustified in the Spirit, seene of Angels, preached vnto the Gentiles, beleeued on in the world, and receiued vp in glorie.
