And when he was nowe come neere to the going downe of the mount of Oliues, the whole multitude of the disciples began to reioyce, and to prayse God with a loude voyce, for all the great workes that they had seene,

Who is like thee so glorious in holinesse, fearefull in prayses, doing wonders! 12 Thou stretchedst out thy right hande, the earth swallowed them. 13 Thou wilt by thy mercie cary this people, which thou deliueredst: thou wilt bring them in thy strength vnto thine holy habitation. 14 The people shal heare and be afraide: sorow shal come vpon the inhabitants of Palestina. 15 Then the dukes of Edom shalbe amased, & trembling shall come vpon the great men of Moab: all the inhabitantes of Canaan shall waxe faint hearted. 16 Feare and dread shall fall vpon them: because of the greatnesse of thine arme, they shalbe stil as a stone, till thy people passe, O Lord: til this people passe, which thou hast purchased. 17 Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountaine of thine inheritance, which is the place that thou hast prepared, O Lord, for to dwell in, euen the sanctuarie, O Lord, which thine hands shall establish. 18 The Lord shall reigne for euer and euer.
Judg 5:1-9 : 1 Then sang Deborah, and Barak the sonne of Abinoam the same day, saying, 2 Praise ye the Lord for the auenging of Israel, and for the people that offred themselues willingly. 3 Heare, ye Kings, hearken ye princes: I, euen I will sing vnto the Lord: I will sing praise vnto the Lord God of Israel. 4 Lorde, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou departedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heauens rained, the cloudes also dropped water. 5 The mountaines melted before the Lord, as did that Sinai before the Lord God of Israel. 6 In the dayes of Shamgar the sonne of Anath, in the dayes of Iael the hie wayes were vnoccupied, and the trauelers walked through by wayes. 7 The townes were not inhabited: they decayed, I say, in Israel, vntill I Deborah came vp, which rose vp a mother in Israel. 8 They chose new gods: then was warre in the gates. Was there a shielde or speare seene among fourtie thousand of Israel? 9 Mine heart is set on the gouernours of Israel, and on them that are willing among the people: praise ye the Lord. 10 Speake ye that ride on white asses, yee that dwel by Middin, & that walke by the way. 11 For the noyse of the archers appaised among the drawers of water: there shal they rehearse the righteousnesse of the Lorde, his righteousnesse of his townes in Israel: then did the people of the Lord goe downe to the gates. 12 Vp Deborah, vp, arise, and sing a song: arise Barak, and leade thy captiuitie captiue, thou sonne of Abinoam. 13 For they that remaine, haue dominio ouer the mightie of the people: the Lorde hath giuen me dominion ouer the strong. 14 Of Ephraim their roote arose against Amalek: & after thee, Beniamin shall fight against thy people, O Amalek: of Machir came rulers, & of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer. 15 And the Princes of Issachar were with Deborah, and Issachar, and also Barak: he was set on his feete in the valley: for the diuisions of Reuben were great thoughts of heart. 16 Why abodest thou among the sheepefolds, to heare the bleatings of the flockes? for the diuisions of Reuben were great thoughts of heart. 17 Gilead abode beyonde Iorden: and why doeth Dan remayne in shippes? Asher sate on the sea shoare, and taryed in his decayed places. 18 But the people of Zebulun and Naphtali haue ieopard their liues vnto the death in the hie places of the field. 19 The Kings came and fought: then fought the Kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo: they receiued no gaine of money. 20 They fought from heauen, euen the starres in their courses fought against Sisera. 21 The Riuer Kishon swepe them away, that ancient riuer the riuer Kishon. O my soule, thou hast marched valiantly. 22 Then were the horsehooues broken with the oft beating together of their mightie men. 23 Curse ye Meroz: (sayd the Angel of the Lorde) curse the inhabitantes thereof, because they came not to helpe the Lorde, to helpe the Lord against the mighty. 24 Iael the wife of Heber the Kenite shall be blessed aboue other women: blessed shall she be aboue women dwelling in tentes. 25 He asked water, and shee gaue him milke: she brought forth butter in a lordly dish. 26 She put her hand to the naile, & her right hand to the workemans hammer: with the hammer smote she Sisera: she smote off his head, after she had wounded, and pearsed his temples. 27 He bowed him downe at her feete, he fell downe, and lay still: at her feete hee bowed him downe, and fell: and when he had sunke downe, he lay there dead. 28 The mother of Sisera looked out at a windowe, and cryed thorowe the lattesse, Why is his charet so long a comming? why tary the wheeles of his charets? 29 Her wise ladies answered her, Yea. Shee answered her selfe with her owne wordes, 30 Haue they not gotten, and they deuide the spoyle? euery man hath a mayde or two. Sisera hath a praye of diuers coloured garmentes, a pray of sundry colours made of needle worke: of diuers colours of needle worke on both sides, for the chiefe of the spoyle. 31 So let all thine enemies perish, O Lorde: but they that loue him, shall be as the Sunne when he riseth in his might, and the lande had rest fourtie yeres.
2 Sam 6:2-6 : 2 And Dauid arose and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Iudah to bring vp from thence the Arke of God, whose name is called by the Name of the Lorde, of hostes, that dwelleth vpon it betweene the Cherubims. 3 And they put the Arke of God vpon a newe cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah; Vzzah and Ahio the sonnes of Abinadab did driue the newe carte. 4 And when they brought the Arke of God out of the house of Abinadab, that was at Gibeah, Ahio went before the Arke, 5 And Dauid and al the house of Israel played before the Lorde on all instruments made of firre, and on harpes, and on Psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals. 6 And when they came to Nachons threshing floore, Vzzah put his hande to the Arke of God, and helde it: for the oxen did shake it.
1 Kgs 8:55-56 : 55 And stoode and blessed all the Congregation of Israel with a loud voyce, saying, 56 Blessed be the Lorde that hath giuen rest vnto his people Israel, according to all that hee promised: there hath not fayled one word of all his good promise which he promised by the hand of Moses his seruant.
1 Chr 15:28 : 28 Thus all Israel brought vp the Arke of the Lordes couenant with shouting and sounde of cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbales, making a sound with violes and with harpes.
1 Chr 16:4-7 : 4 And he appointed certaine of the Leuites to minister before the Arke of the Lorde, and to rehearse and to thanke and prayse the Lord God of Israel: 5 Asaph the chiefe, and next to him Zechariah, Ieiel, and Shemiramoth, and Iehiel, & Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed Edom, euen Ieiel with instruments, violes and harpes, and Asaph to make a sound with cymbales, 6 And Benaiah and Iahaziel Priestes, with trumpets continually before the Arke of the couenant of God. 7 Then at that time Dauid did appoint at the beginning to giue thankes to the Lorde by the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
2 Chr 29:28-30 : 28 And al the Congregation worshipped, singing a song, and they blew the trumpets: all this continued vntill the burnt offring was finished. 29 And when they had made an ende of offring, the King and all that were present with him, bowed themselues, and worshipped. 30 Then Hezekiah the King and the princes commaunded the Leuites to prayse the Lorde with the wordes of Dauid, and of Asaph the Seer. so they praysed with ioy, and they bowed themselues, and worshipped.
2 Chr 29:36 : 36 Then Hezekiah reioyced and all the people, that God had made the people so ready: for the thing was done suddenly.
Ezra 3:10-13 : 10 And when the builders layed the foundation of the Temple of the Lorde, they appoynted the Priestes in their apparel with trumpets, and the Leuites the sonnes of Asaph with cymbales, to prayse the Lord, after the ordinance of Dauid King of Israel. 11 Thus they sang when they gaue prayse, and when they gaue thankes vnto the Lorde, For he is good, for his mercie endureth for euer toward Israel; all the people shouted with a great shoute, when they praysed the Lorde, because the foundation of the house of the Lorde was layed. 12 Many also of the Priests & the Leuites and the chiefe of the fathers, ancient men which had seene the first house, (when the foundation of this house was layed before their eyes) wept with a loud voyce, and many shouted aloud for ioy, 13 So that the people coulde not discerne the sound of the shoute for ioy, from the noyse of the weeping of the people: for the people shouted with a loude crie, & the noyse was heard farre off.
