Verse 50

But thou shalt appoynt the Leuites ouer the Tabernacle of the Testimonie, & ouer all the instruments thereof, and ouer all things that belong to it: they shall beare the Tabernacle, and all the instruments thereof, & shall minister in it, and shall dwell round about the Tabernacle.

Exod 38:21 : 21 These are the parts of the Tabernacle, I meane, of the Tabernacle of the Testimonie, which was appovnted by the commandement of Moses for the office of the Leuites by the hande of Ithamar sonne to Aaron the Priest.
Exod 31:18 : 18 Thus (when the Lord had made an ende of communing with Moses vpon mount Sinai) he gaue him two Tables of the Testimonie, euen tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

Num 4:25-33 : 25 They shall beare the curtaines of the Tabernacle, and the Tabernacle of the Congregation, his couering, and the couering of badgers skinnes, that is on hie vpon it, and the vayle of the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation: 26 The curtaines also of the court, & the vaile of the entring in of the gate of the court, which is neere the Tabernacle & neere the altar round about, with their cordes, and all the instrumentes for their seruice, and all that is made for them: so shall they serue. 27 At the commaundement of Aaron and his sonnes shall all the seruice of the sonnes of ye Gershonites bee done, in all their charges and in all their seruice, and ye shall appoynt them to keepe all their charges. 28 This is the seruice of the families of the sonnes of the Gershonites in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and their watch shall be vnder the hande of Ithamar the sonne of Aaron the Priest. 29 Thou shalt nomber the sonnes of Merari by their families, and by the houses of their fathers: 30 From thirty yere olde and aboue, euen vnto fiftie yere olde shalt thou nomber the, all that enter into the assemblie, to doe the seruice of the Tabernacle of the Congregation. 31 And this is their office and charge according to all their seruice in the Tabernacle of the Congregation: the boardes of the Tabernacle witth the barres thereof, and his pillars, and his sockets, 32 And the pillars rounde about the court, with their sockets and their pinnes, & their cords, with all their instruments, euen for all their seruice: and by name ye shall recken the instruments of their office and charge. 33 This is the seruice of the families of the sonnes of Merari, according to all their seruice in the Tabernacle of the Congregation vnder the hand of Ithamar the sonne of Aaron the Priest.
Num 3:23-38 : 23 The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the Tabernacle westward. 24 The captaine and auncient of the house of the Gershonites shalbe Eliasaph the sonne of Lael. 25 And the charge of the sonnes of Gershon in the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall be the Tabernacle, and the pauilion, the couering thereof, and the vaile of the dore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, 26 And the hanging of the court, & the vaile of the doore of the court, which is neere the Tabernacle, and neere ye Altar round about, and the cordes of it for all the seruice thereof. 27 And of Kohath came the familie of the Amramites, and the familie of the Izeharites, and the familie of the Hebronites, and the familie of the Vzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites. 28 The nomber of all the males from a moneth olde and aboue was eight thousand and sixe hundreth, hauing the charge of the Sanctuarie. 29 The families of the sonnes of Kohath shall pitch on the Southside of the Tabernacle. 30 The captaine and auncient of the house, & families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the sonne of Vzziel: 31 And their charge shalbe the Arke, and the Table, & the Candlesticke, & the altars, and the instruments of the Sanctuarie that they minister with, and the vaile, and all that serueth thereto. 32 And Eleazar the sonne of Aaron the Priest shalbe chiefe captaine of the Leuites, hauing the ouersight of them that haue the charge of the Sanctuarie. 33 Of Merari came the familie of the Mahlites, and the familie of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari. 34 And the summe of them, according to the nomber of all the males, from a moneth olde and aboue was sixe thousand and two hundreth. 35 The captaine and the ancient of the house of the families of Merari shalbe Zuriel the sonne of Abihail: they shall pitche on the Northside of the Tabernacle. 36 And in ye charge and custodie of the sonnes of Merari shall be the boardes of the Tabernacle, and the barres thereof, and his pillars, and his sockets, and al the instruments therof, and al that serueth thereto, 37 With the pillars of the court round about, with their sockets, and their pins & their coardes. 38 Also on the forefront of the Tabernacle toward the East, before the Tabernacle, I say, of the Congregation Eastwarde shal Moses and Aaron and his sonnes pitch, hauing the charge of the Sanctuarie, and the charge of the children of Israel: but the stranger that commeth neere, shall be slayne.
Exod 32:26-29 : 26 And Moses stoode in ye gate of the campe, and sayde, Who pertaineth to the Lorde? let him come to mee; all the sonnes of Leui gathered themselues vnto him. 27 Then he said vnto them, Thus sayth ye Lord God of Israel, Put euery man his sworde by his side: go to and fro, from gate to gate, through the hoste, and slay euery man his brother, and euery man his companion, & euery man his neighbour. 28 So the children of Leui did as Moses had commanded: and there fel of the people the same day about three thousand men. 29 (For Moses had said, Cosecrate your hands vnto the Lord this day, euen euery man vpon his sonne, and vpon his brother, that there may be giuen you a blessing this day)
Num 1:53 : 53 But the Leuites shall pitch rounde about the Tabernacle of the Testimonie, least vengeance come vpon the Congregation of the children of Israel, and the Leuites shall take the charge of the Tabernacle of the Testimonie.
Num 2:17 : 17 Then the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall goe with the host of the Leuites, in the mids of the campe as they haue pitched, so shall they goe forwarde, euery man in his order according to their standerds.
Num 3:1-9 : 1 These also were the generations of Aaron & Moses, in the day that the Lorde spake with Moses in mount Sinai. 2 So these are the names of the sonnes of Aaron, Nadab the first borne, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 3 These are the names of the sonnes of Aaron the anoynted Priests, whom Moses did consecrate to minister in the Priests office. 4 And Nadab and Abihu died before the Lord, when they offred strange fire before the Lord in the wildernesse of Sinai, and had no children: but Eleazar and Ithamar serued in ye Priestes office in the sight of Aaron their father. 5 Then the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying, 6 Bring the tribe of Leui, and set the before Aaron the Priest that they may serue him, 7 And take the charge with him, euen the charge of the whole Congregation before the Tabernacle of the Congregation to doe the seruice of the Tabernacle. 8 They shall also keepe all the instrumentes of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and haue the charge of the children of Israel to doe the seruice of the Tabernacle. 9 And thou shalt giue the Leuites vnto Aaron and to his sonnes: for they are giuen him freely from among the children of Israel. 10 And thou shalt appoint Aaron & his sonnes to execute their Priestes office: and the stranger that commeth neere, shalbe slayne.
Num 10:21 : 21 The Kohathites also went forward and bare the Sanctuarie, and the former did set vp the Tabernacle against they came.
Num 20:11 : 11 Then Moses lift vp his hande, and with his rod he smote the rocke twise, and the water came out aboundantly: so the Congregation, and their beastes dranke.
1 Chr 23:1-9 : 1 So when Dauid was olde and full of dayes, he made Salomon his sonne King ouer Israel. 2 And hee gathered together all the princes of Israel with the Priestes and the Leuites. 3 And the Leuites were numbred from ye age of thirtie yeere and aboue, and their nomber according to their summe was eight & thirtie thousand men. 4 Of these foure and twentie thousande were set to aduance the worke of the house of the Lord, & sixe thousand were ouerseers and iudges. 5 And foure thousand were porters, and foure thousande praised the Lorde with instruments which he made to praise the Lord. 6 So Dauid deuided offices vnto them, to wit, to the sonnes of Leui, to Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. 7 Of the Gershonites were Laadan & Shimei. 8 The sonnes of Laadan, the chiefe was Iehiel, and Zetham and Ioel, three. 9 The Sonnes of Shimei, Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haram, three: these were the chiefe fathers of Laadan. 10 Also the sonnes of Shimei were Iahath, Zina, Ieush, and Beriah: these foure were ye sonnes of Shimei. 11 And Iahath was the chiefe, and Zizah the seconde, but Ieush and Beriah had not many sonnes: therfore they were in the families of their father, counted but as one. 12 The sonnes of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron aud Vzziel, foure. 13 The sonnes of Amram, Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated to sanctifie the most holy place, hee and his sonnes for euer to burne incense before the Lord, to minister to him, and to blesse in his Name for euer. 14 Moses also the man of God, and his children were named with the tribe of Leui. 15 The sonnes of Moses were Gershom, and Eliezer, 16 Of the sonnes of Gershom was Shebuel the chiefe. 17 And the sonne of Eliezer was Rehabiah the chiefe: for Eliezer had none other sonnes: but the sonnes of Rehabiah were very many. 18 The sone of Izhar was Shelomith ye chiefe. 19 The sonnes of Hebron were Ieriah the first, Amariah the second, Iahaziel the third, and Iekamiam the fourth. 20 The sones of Vzziel were Michah the first, and Isshiah the second. 21 The sonnes of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. The sonnes of Mahli, Eleazar and Kish. 22 And Eleazar dyed, and had no sonnes, but daughters, and their brethren the sonnes of Kish tooke them. 23 The sonnes of Mushi were Mahli, & Eder, and Ierimoth, three. 24 These were the sonnes of Leui according to the house of their fathers, euen the chiefe fathers according to their offices, according to the nomber of names and their summe that did the worke for the seruice of the house of the Lorde from the age of twentie yeeres and aboue. 25 For Dauid sayde, The Lord God of Israel hath giuen rest vnto his people, that they may dwell in Ierusalem for euer. 26 And also the Leuites shall no more beare the Tabernacle and al the vessels for the seruice thereof. 27 Therefore according to the last wordes of Dauid, the Leuites were nombred from twentie yeere and aboue, 28 And their office was vnder the hand of the sonnes of Aaron, for the seruice of the house of the Lorde in the courtes, and chambers, and in the purifiyng of all holy thinges, and in the worke of the seruice of the house of God, 29 Both for the shewbread, and for the fine floure, for the meate offring, and for the vnleauened cakes, and for the fryed things, and for that which was rosted, and for all measures and cise, 30 And for to stand euery morning, to giue thanks & praise to the Lorde, & likewise at euen, 31 And to offer all burnt offrings vnto the Lorde, in the Sabbaths, in the moneths, and at the appointed times, according to the nomber and according to their custome continually before the Lorde, 32 And that they should keepe the charge of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and the charge of ye holy place, & the charge of ye sonnes of Aaron their brethren in the seruice of ye house of the Lord.
1 Chr 25:1-9 : 1 So Dauid and the captaines of the armie separated for the ministerie the sonnes of Asaph, and Heman, and Ieduthun, who should sing prophesies with harpes, with violes, and with cymbales, and their nomber was euen of the men for the office of their ministerie, to wit, 2 Of the sonnes of Asaph, Zaccur, and Ioseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah the sonnes of Asaph were vnder the hand of Asaph, which sang prophesies by the commission of the King. 3 Of Ieduthun, the sonnes of Ieduthun, Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Ieshaiah, Ashabiah and Mattithiah, six, vnder the hands of their father: Ieduthun sang prophecies with an harpe, for to giue thankes and to praise the Lorde. 4 Of Heman, the sonnes of Heman, Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Vzziel, Shebuel, and Ierimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Ioshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth. 5 All these were the sonnes of Heman, the Kings Seer in the wordes of God to lift vp the horne: and God gaue to Heman fourtene sonnes and three daughters. 6 All these were vnder the hande of their father, singing in the house of the Lorde with cymbales, violes and harpes, for the seruice of the house of God, and Asaph, and Ieduthun, and Heman were at the Kings commandement. 7 So was their nomber with their brethre that were instruct in ye songs of the Lord, euen of al that were cunning, two hundreth foure score & eight. 8 And they cast lottes, charge against charge, aswel small as great, the cunning man as the scholer. 9 And the first lot fell to Ioseph which was of Asaph, the second, to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and his sonnes were twelue. 10 The third, to Zaccur, he, his sonnes and his brethren were twelue. 11 The fourth, to Izri, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue. 12 The fift, to Nethaniah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue. 13 The sixt, to Bukkiah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue. 14 The seuenth, to Iesharelah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue. 15 The eight, to Ieshaiah, he, his sonnes & his brethren twelue. 16 The ninth, to Mattaniah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue. 17 The tenth, to Shimei, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue. 18 The eleuenth, to Azareel, he, his sonnes & his brethren twelue. 19 The twelft, to Ashabiah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue. 20 The thirteenth, to Shubael, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue. 21 The fourtenth, to Mattithiah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue. 22 The fifteenth, to Ierimoth, he, his sonnes & his brethren twelue. 23 The sixteenth, to Hananiah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue. 24 The seuenteenth, to Ioshbekashah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue. 25 The eighteenth, to Hanani, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue. 26 The ninteenth, to Mallothi, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.
Ezra 8:25-30 : 25 And weighed them the siluer and the gold, and the vessels, euen the offring of ye house of our God, which the King and his counselers, and his Princes, & all Israel that were present had offred. 26 And I weighed vnto their hand sixe hundreth and fiftie talents of siluer, and in siluer vessel, an hundreth talents, and in golde, an hundreth talents: 27 And twentie basins of golde, of a thousand drammes, and two vessels of shining brasse very good, and precious as golde. 28 And I said vnto them, Ye are consecrate vnto the Lord, and the vessels are consecrate, and the gold and the siluer are freely offred vnto the Lord God of your fathers. 29 Watch ye, and keepe them vntill ye weigh them before the chiefe Priestes and the Leuites, and the chiefe fathers of Israel in Ierusalem in the chambers of the house of the Lord. 30 So the Priests and the Leuites receiued the weight of the siluer and of the golde, and of the vessels to bring them to Ierusalem, vnto the house of our God.
Ezra 8:33-34 : 33 And on ye fourth day was the siluer weighed, and the golde and the vessell in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the sonne of Vriah the Priest, and with him was Eleazar the sonne of Phinehas, and with them was Iozabad the sonne of Ieshua, and Noadiah the sonne of Binnui the Leuites, 34 By number and by weight of euery one, and all the weight was written at the same time.
Neh 12:8 : 8 And the Leuites, Ieshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Iudah, Mattaniah were ouer the thankesgiuings, he, and his brethren.
Neh 12:22 : 22 In the dayes of Eliashib, Ioiada, and Iohanan and Iaddua were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites written, and the Priests in the reigne of Darius the Persian.
Neh 12:47 : 47 And in the dayes of Zerubbabel, & in the dayes of Nehemiah did al Israel giue portions vnto the singers and porters, euerie day his portion, and they gaue the holy things vnto the Leuites, and the Leuites gaue the holy things vnto the sonnes of Aaron.
Neh 13:5 : 5 And he had made him a great chamber and there had they aforetime layde the offringes, the incense, and the vessels, and the tithes of corne, of wine, and of oyle (appointed for the Leuites, and the singers, and the porters) and the offringes of the Priests.
Neh 13:10-13 : 10 And I perceiued that the portions of the Leuites had not bene giuen, and that euery one was fled to his lande, euen the Leuites and singers that executed the worke. 11 Then reproued I the rulers and sayd, Why is the house of God forsaken? And I assembled them, and set them in their place. 12 Then brought all Iudah the tithes of corne and of wine, and of oyle vnto the treasures. 13 And I made treasurers ouer the treasures, Shelemiah the Priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Leuites, Pedaiah, and vnder their hande Hanan the sonne of Zaccur the sonne of Mattaniah: for they were counted faithfull, and their office was to distribute vnto their brethren.
Neh 13:22 : 22 And I sayde vnto the Leuites, that they should clense themselues, and that they shoulde come and keepe the gates, to sanctifie the Sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this, & pardon me according to thy great mercy.
Ps 122:4 : 4 Whereunto the Tribes, euen the Tribes of the Lord go vp according to the testimonie to Israel, to prayse the Name of the Lorde.
