Verse 5

When the hoste remoueth, then Aaron and his sonnes shall come and take downe the couering vaile, and shall couer the Arke of the Testimonie therewith.

Exod 25:10-22 : 10 They shall make also an Arke of Shittim wood, two cubites and an halfe long, and a cubite and an halfe broade, and a cubite and an halfe hie. 11 And thou shalt ouerlay it with pure golde: within and without shalt thou ouerlay it, & shalt make vpon it a crowne of golde rounde about. 12 And thou shalt cast foure rings of golde for it, and put them in the foure corners thereof: that is, two rings shalbe on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side thereof. 13 And thou shalt make barres of Shittim wood, and couer them with golde. 14 Then thou shalt put the barres in the rings by the sides of the Arke, to beare the Arke with them. 15 The barres shalbe in the rings of the Arke: they shall not be taken away from it. 16 So thou shalt put in the Arke the Testimonie which I shall giue thee. 17 Also thou shalt make a Mercie seate of pure golde, two cubites and an halfe long, and a cubite and an halfe broade. 18 And thou shalt make two Cherubims of golde: of worke beaten out with the hammer shalt thou make the at ye two endes of the Merciseate. 19 And the one Cherub shalt thou make at the one ende, and the other Cherub at the other ende: of the matter of the Mercieseate shall ye make the Cherubims, on the two endes thereof. 20 And the Cherubims shall stretche their winges on hie, couering the Mercie seate with their winges, and their faces one to another: to the Mercie seate warde shal the faces of the Cherubims be. 21 And thou shalt put the Mercieseate aboue vpon the Arke, and in the Arke thou shalt put the Testimonie, which I will giue thee, 22 And there I will declare my selfe vnto thee, & from aboue ye Mercieseate betweene ye two Cherubims, which are vpon ye Arke of ye Testimonie, I wil tel thee al things which I wil giue thee in comandement vnto ye children of Israel.
Exod 26:31-33 : 31 Moreouer, thou shalt make a vaile of blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine twined linen: thou shalt make it of broydred worke with Cherubims. 32 And thou shalt hang it vpo foure pillers of Shittim wood couered with gold, (whose hookes shalbe of gold) stading vpo foure sockets of siluer. 33 Afterward thou shalt hang the vaile on the hookes, that thou mayest bring in thither, that is (within the vaile) the arke of the Testimonie: and the vaile shall make you a separation betweene the Holy place and the most holy place.

Exod 37:1-9 : 1 After this, Bezaleel made the Arke of Shittim wood, two cubites and an halfe long and a cubite and an halfe broade, and a cubite and an halfe hie: 2 And ouerlayde it with fine golde within and without, and made a crowne of golde to it rounde about, 3 And cast for it foure rings of golde for the foure corners of it: that is, two rings for the one side of it, & two rings for the other side thereof. 4 Also he made barres of Shittim wood, and couered them with golde, 5 And put the barres in the rings by the sides of the Arke, to beare the Arke. 6 And he made the Merciseate of pure golde: two cubites and an halfe was the length thereof, and one cubite and an halfe the breadth thereof. 7 And he made two Cherubims of gold, vpo the two endes of the Merciseate: euen of worke beaten with the hammer made he them. 8 One Cherub on the one ende, and another Cherub on the other ende: of the Merciseate made he the Cherubims, at ye two endes thereof. 9 And the Cherubims spread out their wings on hie, & couered the Merciseat with their wings, & their faces were one towards another: towarde the Merciseat were the faces of the Cherubims.
Exod 40:3 : 3 And thou shalt put therein the Arke of the Testimonie, and couer the Arke with the vaile.
Num 2:16-17 : 16 All the nomber of the campe of Reuben were an hundreth and one and fiftie thousande, and foure hundreth and fiftie according to their armies, and they shall set foorth in the seconde place. 17 Then the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall goe with the host of the Leuites, in the mids of the campe as they haue pitched, so shall they goe forwarde, euery man in his order according to their standerds.
Num 3:27-32 : 27 And of Kohath came the familie of the Amramites, and the familie of the Izeharites, and the familie of the Hebronites, and the familie of the Vzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites. 28 The nomber of all the males from a moneth olde and aboue was eight thousand and sixe hundreth, hauing the charge of the Sanctuarie. 29 The families of the sonnes of Kohath shall pitch on the Southside of the Tabernacle. 30 The captaine and auncient of the house, & families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the sonne of Vzziel: 31 And their charge shalbe the Arke, and the Table, & the Candlesticke, & the altars, and the instruments of the Sanctuarie that they minister with, and the vaile, and all that serueth thereto. 32 And Eleazar the sonne of Aaron the Priest shalbe chiefe captaine of the Leuites, hauing the ouersight of them that haue the charge of the Sanctuarie.
Num 4:15 : 15 And when Aaron and his sonnes haue made an ende of couering the Sanctuarie, and al the instruments of the Sanctuarie, at the remouing of the host, afterward the sonnes of Kohath shall come to beare it, but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they dye. This is the charge of the sonnes of Kohath in the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
Num 10:14 : 14 In the first place went the standerd of the hoste of the children of Iudah, according to their armies: and Nahshon the sonne of Amminabad was ouer his band.
2 Sam 6:2-9 : 2 And Dauid arose and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Iudah to bring vp from thence the Arke of God, whose name is called by the Name of the Lorde, of hostes, that dwelleth vpon it betweene the Cherubims. 3 And they put the Arke of God vpon a newe cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah; Vzzah and Ahio the sonnes of Abinadab did driue the newe carte. 4 And when they brought the Arke of God out of the house of Abinadab, that was at Gibeah, Ahio went before the Arke, 5 And Dauid and al the house of Israel played before the Lorde on all instruments made of firre, and on harpes, and on Psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals. 6 And when they came to Nachons threshing floore, Vzzah put his hande to the Arke of God, and helde it: for the oxen did shake it. 7 And the Lord was verie wroth with Vzzah, and God smote him in the same place for his fault, and there he dyed by the Arke of God. 8 And Dauid was displeased, because the Lord had smitten Vzzah: and he called the name of the place Perez Vzzah vntill this day. 9 Therefore Dauid that day feared the Lord, and sayd, How shall the Arke of the Lorde come to mee?
Isa 25:7 : 7 And he will destroy in this mountaine the couering that couereth all people, and the vaile that is spread vpon all nations.
