Verse 19

And haue giuen the Leuites as a gift vnto Aaron, and to his sonnes from among the children of Israel, to do the seruice of the children of Israel in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel, that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come neere vnto the Sanctuarie.

• 2 Chr 26:16-20 : 16 But when he was strong, his heart was lift vp to his destruction: for he trasgressed against the Lord his God, & went into the Temple of the Lord to burne incense vpon the altar of incense. 17 And Azariah the Priest went in after him, and with him foure score Priests of the Lord, valiant men. 18 And they withstoode Vzziah the King, & said vnto him, It perteineth not to thee, Vzziah, to burne incense vnto the Lord, but to the Priests the sonnes of Aaron, that are consecrated for to offer incense: goe forth of the Sanctuarie: for thou hast transgressed, and thou shalt haue none honour of the Lord God. 19 Then Vzziah was wroth, and had incense in his hand to burne it: and while he was wroth with the Priestes, the leprosie rose vp in his forehead before the Priestes in the house of the Lord beside the incense altar. 20 And wen Azariah the chiefe Priest with al the Priestes looked vpon him, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, & they caused him hastily to depart thence: and he was euen compelled to go out, because the Lord had smitten him.
• Ezek 44:11-14 : 11 And they shall serue in my Sanctuarie, and keepe the gates of the House, and minister in the House: they shall slay the burnt offring and the sacrifice for the people: and they shall stand before them to serue them. 12 Because they serued before their idoles, & caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquitie, therfore haue I lift vp mine had against the, saith the Lord God, and they shal beare their iniquity, 13 And they shal not come neere vnto me to do ye office of ye Priest vnto me, neyther shal they come neere vnto any of mine holy things in the most holy place, but they shall beare their shame & their abominatios, which they haue comitted. 14 And I will make them keepers of ye watch of the House, for all the seruice thereof, and for all that shalbe done therein.
• Num 3:6-9 : 6 Bring the tribe of Leui, and set the before Aaron the Priest that they may serue him, 7 And take the charge with him, euen the charge of the whole Congregation before the Tabernacle of the Congregation to doe the seruice of the Tabernacle. 8 They shall also keepe all the instrumentes of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and haue the charge of the children of Israel to doe the seruice of the Tabernacle. 9 And thou shalt giue the Leuites vnto Aaron and to his sonnes: for they are giuen him freely from among the children of Israel.
