All that are proude in heart, are an abomination to the Lord: though hand ioyne in hand, he shall not be vnpunished.

Prov 8:13 : 13 The feare of the Lord is to hate euill as pride, and arrogancie, and the euill way: and a mouth that speaketh lewde things, I doe hate.
Prov 11:21 : 21 Though hande ioyne in hande, the wicked shall not be vnpunished: but the seede of the righteous shall escape.
Rom 2:8-9 : 8 But vnto them that are contentious and disobey the trueth, and obey vnrighteousnesse, shalbe indignation and wrath. 9 Tribulation and anguish shalbe vpon the soule of euery man that doeth euill: of the Iewe first, and also of the Grecian.
Jas 4:6 : 6 But the Scripture offereth more grace, and therefore sayth, God resisteth the proude, and giueth grace to the humble.
Exod 20:7 : 7 Thou shalt not take the Name of the Lorde thy God in vaine: for the Lorde will not hold him guiltles that taketh his Name in vayne.
Job 40:12 : 12 (40:7) Looke on euery one that is arrogant, and bring him lowe: and destroy the wicked in their place.
