Verse 2

The feare of the King is like the roaring of a lyon: hee that prouoketh him vnto anger, sinneth against his owne soule.

Prov 8:36 : 36 But he that sinneth against me, hurteth his owne soule: and all that hate me, loue death.
Prov 19:12 : 12 The Kings wrath is like the roaring of a lyon: but his fauour is like the dewe vpon ye grasse.
1 Kgs 2:23 : 23 Then King Salomon sware by the Lorde, saying, God doe so to me and more also, if Adoniiah hath not spoken this worde against his owne life.
Num 16:38 : 38 The censers, I say, of these sinners, that destroyed themselues: and let them make of them broade plates for a couering of the Altar: for they offered them before the Lorde, therefore they shalbe holy, and they shall be a signe vnto the children of Israel.

Hos 11:10 : 10 They shall walke after the Lorde: he shall roare like a lyon: when hee shall roare, then the children of the West shall feare.
Amos 3:8 : 8 The lyon hath roared: who will not bee afraide? the Lord God hath spoken: who can but prophecie?
Hab 2:10 : 10 Thou hast consulted shame to thine owne house, by destroying many people, and hast sinned against thine owne soule.
