Verse 5

A wise man is strong: for a man of vnderstanding encreaseth his strength.

Prov 21:22 : 22 A wise man goeth vp into the citie of the mightie, and casteth downe the strength of the confidence thereof.
Eccl 7:19 : 19 (7:21) Wisedome shall strengthen the wise man more then ten mightie princes that are in ye citie.
Col 1:11 : 11 Strengthened with all might through his glorious power, vnto all patience, and long suffering with ioyfulnesse,
Ps 84:7 : 7 They goe from strength to strength, till euery one appeare before God in Zion.
Prov 8:14 : 14 I haue counsell and wisedome: I am vnderstanding, and I haue strength.
Prov 10:29 : 29 The way of the Lord is strength to the vpright man: but feare shall be for the workers of iniquitie.
Eccl 9:14-18 : 14 A litle citie and fewe men in it, and a great King came against it, and compassed it about, and builded fortes against it. 15 And there was founde therein a poore and wise man, and he deliuered the citie by his wisedome: but none remembred this poore man. 16 Then said I, Better is wisdome then stregth: yet the wisedome of the poore is despised, and his wordes are not heard. 17 The wordes of the wise are more heard in quietnes, then the crye of him that ruleth among fooles. 18 Better is wisedome then weapons of warre: but one sinner destroyeth much good.
Isa 40:31 : 31 But they that waite vpon the Lord, shall renue their strength: they shall lift vp the wings as the eagles: they shall runne, and not be wearie, and they shall walke and not faint.
