Verse 7

As they that lift vp the legs of the lame, so is a parable in a fooles mouth.

Prov 26:9 : 9 As a thorne standing vp in the hand of a drunkard, so is a parable in the mouth of fooles.
Matt 7:4-5 : 4 Or howe sayest thou to thy brother, Suffer me to cast out the mote out of thine eye, and beholde, a beame is in thine owne eye? 5 Hypocrite, first cast out that beame out of thine owne eye, and then shalt thou see clearely to cast out the mote out of thy brothers eye.
Luke 4:23 : 23 Then he said vnto them, Ye will surely say vnto mee this prouerbe, Physician, heale thy selfe: whatsoeuer we haue heard done in Capernaum, doe it here likewise in thine owne countrey.
Ps 50:16-21 : 16 But vnto the wicked said God, What hast thou to doe to declare mine ordinances, that thou shouldest take my couenant in thy mouth, 17 Seeing thou hatest to bee reformed, and hast cast my wordes behinde thee? 18 For when thou seest a thiefe, thou runnest with him, & thou art partaker with the adulterers. 19 Thou giuest thy mouth to euill, and with thy tongue thou forgest deceit. 20 Thou sittest, and speakest against thy brother, and slanderest thy mothers sonne. 21 These things hast thou done, and I held my tongue: therefore thou thoughtest that I was like thee: but I will reproue thee, and set them in order before thee.
Ps 64:8 : 8 They shall cause their owne tongue to fall vpon them: and whosoeuer shall see them, shall flee away.
Prov 17:7 : 7 Hie talke becommeth not a foole, much lesse a lying talke a prince.
