Verse 35

The wise shall inherite glorie: but fooles dishonour, though they be exalted.

1 Sam 2:30 : 30 Wherefore the Lorde God of Israel saith, I saide, that thine house and the house of thy father should walke before mee for euer: but nowe the Lord saith, It shall not be so: for them that honour me, I will honour, and they that despise me, shall be despised.
Ps 73:24 : 24 Thou wilt guide me by thy counsell, and afterward receiue me to glory.
Ps 132:18 : 18 His enemies will I clothe with shame, but on him his crowne shall florish.
Prov 4:8 : 8 Exalt her, and she shall exalt thee: she shall bring thee to honour, if thou embrace her.
Prov 13:8 : 8 A man will giue his riches for the ransome of his life: but the poore cannot heare ye reproch.
Isa 65:13-15 : 13 Therefore thus saith the Lorde God, Beholde, my seruants shal eate, and ye shalbe hungrie: beholde, my seruants shal drinke, and ye shal be thirstie: beholde, my seruants shal reioyce, and ye shalbe ashamed. 14 Beholde, my seruants shal sing for ioye of heart, and ye shal crye for sorow of heart, and shal howle for vexation of minde. 15 And ye shal leaue your name as a curse vnto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay you and call his seruants by another name.
Dan 12:2-3 : 2 And many of them that sleepe in the dust of the earth, shall awake, some to euerlasting life, and some to shame and perpetuall contempt. 3 And they that be wise, shal shine, as ye brightnes of the firmament: and they that turne many to righteousnes, shal shine as the starres, for euer & euer.
