The Lord executeth righteousnes & iudgement to all that are oppressed.

Ezek 22:12-14 : 12 In thee haue they taken giftes to shed blood: thou hast taken vsurie and the encrease, and thou hast defrauded thy neighbours by extortion, & hast forgotten me, saith the Lord God. 13 Beholde, therefore I haue smitten mine hands vpon thy couetousnesse, that thou hast vsed, and vpon the blood, which hath bene in the middes of thee. 14 Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the dayes that I shall haue to doe with thee? I the Lorde haue spoken it, and will doe it.
Mic 2:1-3 : 1 Wo vnto them, that imagine iniquitie, and worke wickednesse vpon their beddes: when the morning is light they practise it because their hande hath power. 2 And they couet fields, and take them by violence, and houses, and take them away: so they oppresse a man and his house, euen man and his heritage. 3 Therefore thus saieth the Lorde, Beholde, against this familie haue I deuised a plague, whereout yee shall not plucke your neckes, and ye shall not go so proudly, for this time is euill.
Mic 3:2-4 : 2 But they hate the good, and loue the euill: they plucke off their skinnes from them, & their flesh from their bones. 3 And they eate also the flesh of my people, & flay off their skinne from them, & they breake their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron. 4 Then shall they crye vnto the Lorde, but he will not heare them: he wil euen hide his face from them at that time, because they haue done wickedly in their workes.
Jas 2:6 : 6 But ye haue despised the poore. Doe not the riche oppresse you by tyrannie, and doe not they drawe you before the iudgement seates?
Jas 5:1-6 : 1 Go to nowe, ye rich men: weepe, and howle for your miseries that shall come vpon you. 2 Your riches are corrupt, and your garments are moth eaten. 3 Your gold and siluer is cankred, & the rust of them shalbe a witnesse against you, and shall eate your flesh, as it were fire. Ye haue heaped vp treasure for the last dayes. 4 Behold, the hire of ye labourers, which haue reaped your fieldes (which is of you kept backe by fraude) cryeth, and the cryes of them which haue reaped, are entred into the eares of the Lord of hostes. 5 Ye haue liued in pleasure on the earth, and in wantonnes. Ye haue nourished your heartes, as in a day of slaughter. 6 Ye haue condemned and haue killed the iust, and he hath not resisted you.
Prov 14:31 : 31 He that oppresseth the poore, reprooueth him that made him: but hee honoureth him, that hath mercie on the poore.
Prov 22:22-23 : 22 Robbe not the poore, because hee is poore, neither oppresse the afflicted in iudgement. 23 For the Lord will defende their cause, and spoyle the soule of those that spoyle them.

Isa 14:4-9 : 4 Then shalt thou take vp this prouerbe against the King of Babel, and say, Howe hath the oppressor ceased? & the gold thirsty Babel rested? 5 The Lorde hath broken the rodde of the wicked, and the scepter of the rulers: 6 Which smote the people in anger with a continuall plague, and ruled the nations in wrath: if any were persecuted, he did not let. 7 The whole worlde is at rest and is quiet: they sing for ioye. 8 Also the firre trees reioyced of thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid downe, no hewer came vp against vs. 9 Hel beneath is mooued for thee to meete thee at thy coming, raising vp the deade for thee, euen all the princes of the earth, and hath raised from their thrones all the Kinges of the nations. 10 All they shall crie, and saie vnto thee, Art thou become weake also as we? Art thou become like vnto vs? 11 Thy pompe is brought downe to ye graue, and the sounde of thy violes: the worme is spred vnder thee, and the wormes couer thee. 12 How art thou fallen from heauen, O Lucifer, sonne of the morning? and cutte downe to the grounde, which didest cast lottes vpon the nations? 13 Yet thou saidest in thine heart, I will ascende into heauen, and exalt my throne aboue beside the starres of God: I will sitte also vpon the mount of the Congregation in the sides of the North. 14 I wil ascend aboue ye height of the cloudes, and I will be like the most high. 15 But thou shalt bee brought downe to the graue, to the sides of the pit. 16 They that see thee, shall looke vpon thee and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, and that did shake the kingdomes? 17 He made the worlde as a wildernesse, and destroied the cities thereof, and opened not the house of his prisoners. 18 All the Kings of the nations, euen they all sleepe in glorie, euery one in his owne house. 19 But thou art cast out of thy graue like an abominable branch: like the raiment of those that are slaine, and thrust thorowe with a sword, which goe downe to the stones of the pit, as a carkeise troden vnder feete. 20 Thou shalt not be ioyned with them in the graue, because thou hast destroied thine owne lande, and slaine thy people: the seede of the wicked shall not be renoumed for euer. 21 Prepare a slaughter for his children, for the iniquitie of their fathers: let them not rise vp nor possesse the land, nor fil the face of the world with enemies. 22 For I wil rise vp against them (sayth the Lorde of hostes) and will cut off from Babel the name and the remnant and the sonne, and the nephew, sayth the Lord: 23 And I wil make it a possession to ye hedgehogge, and pooles of water, and I will sweepe it with the besome of destruction, sayeth the Lorde of hostes. 24 The Lorde of hostes hath sworne, saying, Surely like as I haue purposed, so shall it come to passe, and as I haue consulted, it shall stand: 25 That I will breake to pieces Asshur in my land, and vpon my mountaines will I treade him vnder foote: so that his yoke shall depart from them, and his burden shall be taken from off their shoulder. 26 This is the counsell that is consulted vpon the whole worlde, and this is the hande stretched out ouer all the nations, 27 Because the Lorde of hostes hath determined it, and who shall disanull it? and his hande is stretched out, and who shall turne it away? 28 In the yeere that King Ahaz died, was this burden. 29 Reioyce not, (thou whole Palestina) because the rod of him that did beat thee, is broken for out of the serpents roote shal come forth a cockatrise, & the fruit therof shalbe a firy flying serpent. 30 For the first borne of the poore shall be fed, and the needie shall lie downe in safetie: and I will kill thy roote with famine, and it shal slay thy remnant. 31 Howle, O gate, crie, O citie: thou whole lande of Palestina art dissolued, for there shall come from the North a smoke, and none shalbe alone, at his time appointed. 32 What shall then one answere the messengers of the Gentiles? That the Lorde hath stablished Zion, and the poore of his people shall trust in it.
Isa 58:6-7 : 6 Is not this the fasting, that I haue chosen, to loose the bandes of wickednes, to take off the heauie burdens, and to let the oppressed goe free, and that ye breake euery yoke? 7 Is it not to deale thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poore that wander, vnto thine house? when thou seest the naked, that thou couer him, and hide not thy selfe from thine owne flesh?
Jer 7:6-9 : 6 And oppresse not the stranger, the fatherlesse and the widow and shed no innocent blood in this place, neither walke after other gods to your destruction, 7 Then will I let you dwell in this place in the lande that I gaue vnto your fathers, for euer and euer. 8 Beholde, you trust in lying woordes, that can not profite. 9 Will you steale, murder, and commit adulterie, and sweare falsely and burne incense vnto Baal, and walke after other gods whome yee knowe not? 10 And come and stande before mee in this House, whereupon my Name is called, and saye, We are deliuered, though we haue done all these abominations? 11 Is this House become a denne of theeues, whereupon my Name is called before your eyes? Beholde, euen I see it, sayeth the Lord. 12 But go ye nowe vnto my place which was in Shilo, where I set my Name at the beginning, and beholde, what I did to it for the wickednesse of my people Israel. 13 Therefore nowe because yee haue done all these woorkes, sayeth the Lorde, (and I rose vp earely and spake vnto you: but when I spake, yee would not heare me, neither when I called, would yee answere). 14 Therefore will I do vnto this House, wherupon my Name is called, wherein also yee trust, euen vnto the place that I gaue to you & to your fathers, as I haue done vnto Shilo. 15 And I will cast you out of my sight, as I haue cast out all your brethren, euen the whole seede of Ephraim.
Ps 72:4 : 4 He shall iudge the poore of the people: he shall saue the children of the needie, and shal subdue the oppressor.
Ps 72:12 : 12 For he shall deliuer the poore when he cryeth: the needie also, and him that hath no helper.
Ps 109:31 : 31 For he will stand at the right hand of the poore, to saue him from them that woulde condemne his soule.
Job 27:13-23 : 13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of tyrants, which they shal receiue of the Almightie. 14 If his children be in great nomber, the sworde shall destroy them, and his posteritie shall not be satisfied with bread. 15 His remnant shall be buried in death, and his widowes shall not weepe. 16 Though he shoulde heape vp siluer as the dust, and prepare rayment as the clay, 17 He may prepare it, but the iust shall put it on, and the innocent shall deuide the siluer. 18 He buildeth his house as the moth, and as a lodge that the watchman maketh. 19 When the rich man sleepeth, he shal not be gathered to his fathers: they opened their eyes, and he was gone. 20 Terrours shal take him as waters, & a tempest shall cary him away by night. 21 The East winde shall take him away, & he shal depart: & it shal hurle him out of his place. 22 And God shal cast vpon him and not spare, though he would faine flee out of his hand. 23 Euery man shall clap their hands at him, & hisse at him out of their place.
Ps 9:9 : 9 The Lord also wil be a refuge for the poore, a refuge in due time, euen in affliction.
Ps 10:14-18 : 14 Yet thou hast seene it: for thou beholdest mischiefe and wrong, that thou mayest take it into thine handes: the poore committeth himselfe vnto thee: for thou art the helper of the fatherlesse. 15 Breake thou the arme of the wicked and malicious: searche his wickednes, and thou shalt finde none. 16 The Lorde is King for euer and euer: the heathen are destroyed foorth of his land. 17 Lorde, thou hast heard the desire of the poore: thou preparest their heart: thou bendest thine eare to them, 18 To iudge the fatherlesse and poore, that earthly man cause to feare no more.
