Verse 8

Let not the wicked haue his desire, O Lord: performe not his wicked thought, least they be proude. Selah.

Deut 32:27 : 27 Saue that I feared the furie of the enemie, least their aduersaries should waxe proude, and least they should say, Our hie hande and not the Lorde hath done all this:
2 Sam 15:31 : 31 Then one tolde Dauid, saying, Ahithophel is one of them that haue cospired with Absalom: and Dauid sayde, O Lorde, I pray thee, turne the counsell of Ahithophel into foolishnesse.
Job 5:12-13 : 12 He scattereth the deuices of the craftie: so that their handes can not accomplish that which they doe enterprise. 13 He taketh the wise in their craftinesse, and the counsel of the wicked is made foolish.
Ps 10:2-3 : 2 The wicked with pride doeth persecute the poore: let them be taken in the craftes that they haue imagined. 3 For the wicked hath made boast of his owne heartes desire, and the couetous blesseth himselfe: he contemneth the Lord.
Ps 27:12 : 12 Giue me not vnto the lust of mine aduersaries: for there are false witnesses risen vp against me, and such as speake cruelly.
Ps 94:20-21 : 20 Hath the throne of iniquitie fellowship with thee, which forgeth wrong for a Lawe? 21 They gather them together against the soule of the righteous, and condemne the innocent blood.
