Verse 4

Their poyson is euen like the poyson of a serpent: like ye deafe adder that stoppeth his eare.

Ps 140:3 : 3 They haue sharpened their tongues like a serpent: adders poyson is vnder their lips. Selah.
Eccl 10:11 : 11 If the serpent bite, when he is not charmed: no better is a babbler.
Isa 11:8 : 8 And the sucking childe shall play vpon the hole of the aspe, and the wained childe shall put his hand vpon the cockatrice hole.
Jer 8:17 : 17 For beholde, I will sende serpents, and cockatrices among you, which will not be charmed, and they shal sting you, sayth the Lord.
Matt 3:7 : 7 Now when he sawe many of the Pharises, and of the Sadduces come to his baptisme, he said vnto them, O generations of vipers, who hath forewarned you to flee from the anger to come?
