Verse 5

For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the graue who shall prayse thee?

Ps 30:9 : 9 What profite is there in my blood, when I go downe to the pit? shall the dust giue thankes vnto thee? or shall it declare thy trueth?
Ps 88:10-12 : 10 Wilt thou shewe a miracle to the dead? or shall the dead rise and prayse thee? Selah. 11 Shall thy louing kindenes be declared in the graue? or thy faithfulnes in destruction? 12 Shall thy wonderous workes be knowen in the darke? and thy righteousnes in the land of obliuion?
Ps 115:17 : 17 The dead prayse not the Lord, neither any that goe downe into the place of silence.
Eccl 9:10 : 10 All that thine hand shall finde to doe, doe it with all thy power: for there is neither worke nor inuention, nor knowledge, nor wisedome in the graue whither thou goest.
Isa 38:18-19 : 18 For the graue cannot confesse thee: death cannot praise thee: they that goe downe into the pit, cannot hope for thy trueth. 19 But the liuing, the liuing, he shall confesse thee, as I doe this day: the father to the children shall declare thy trueth.
John 9:4 : 4 I must worke the workes of him that sent me, while it is day: the night commeth when no man can worke.
Ps 118:17 : 17 I shall not die, but liue, and declare the woorkes of the Lord.
