Ps 73:3-9 : 3 For I feared at the foolish, when I sawe the prosperitie of the wicked. 4 For there are no bandes in their death, but they are lustie and strong. 5 They are not in trouble as other men, neither are they plagued with other men. 6 Therefore pride is as a chayne vnto them, and crueltie couereth them as a garment. 7 Their eyes stande out for fatnesse: they haue more then heart can wish. 8 They are licentious, and speake wickedly of their oppression: they talke presumptuously. 9 They set their mouth against heauen, and their tongue walketh through the earth. 10 Therefore his people turne hither: for waters of a full cup are wrung out to them. 11 And they say, Howe doeth God know it? or is there knowledge in the most High? 12 Lo, these are the wicked, yet prosper they alway, and increase in riches.
Ps 75:4-5 : 4 I saide vnto the foolish, Be not so foolish, and to the wicked, Lift not vp the horne. 5 Lift not vp your horne on high, neither speake with a stiffe necke.
Ps 140:8 : 8 Let not the wicked haue his desire, O Lord: performe not his wicked thought, least they be proude. Selah.

Isa 37:28-29 : 28 But I know thy dwelling, and thy going out, and thy comming in, and thy fury against me. 29 Because thou ragest against me, and thy tumult is come vnto mine eares, therefore will I put mine hooke in thy nostrels, and my bridle in thy lips, and wil bring thee backe againe the same way thou camest.

Dan 5:20-28 : 20 But when his heart was puft vp, and his minde hardened in pride, hee was deposed from his kingly throne, and they tooke his honour from him. 21 And hee was driuen from the sonnes of men, and his heart was made like the beastes, and his dwelling was with the wilde asses: they fed him with grasse like oxen, and his body was wet with the dewe of the heauen, till he knewe, that the most high God bare rule ouer the kingdome of men, and that he appointeth ouer it, whomsoeuer he pleaseth. 22 And thou his sonne, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all these things, 23 But hast lift thy selfe vp against the Lorde of heauen, and they haue brought the vessels of his House before thee, and thou and thy princes, thy wiues and thy concubines haue drunke wine in them, and thou hast praysed the gods of siluer and golde, of brasse, yron, wood and stone, which neither see, neither heare, nor vnderstand: and the God in whose hand thy breath is and all thy wayes, him hast thou not glorified. 24 Then was the palme of the hand sent from him, and hath written this writing. 25 And this is the writing that he hath written, Mene, Mene, Tekel Vpharsin. 26 This is the interpretation of the thing, Mene, God hath nombred thy kingdome, and hath finished it. 27 Tekel, thou art wayed in the balance, and art found too light. 28 Peres, thy kingdome is deuided, and giuen to the Medes and Persians.
Dan 6:26-27 : 26 I make a decree that in all the dominion of my kingdome, men tremble and feare before the God of Daniel: for he is the liuing God, and remayneth for euer: and his kingdome shall not perish, and his dominion shalbe euerlasting. 27 Hee rescueth and deliuereth, and hee worketh signes and wonders in heauen and in earth, who hath deliuered Daniel from the power of the lyons.
