Verse 22

Arise, O God: mainteine thine owne cause: remember thy dayly reproche by the foolish man.

Ps 74:18 : 18 Remember this, that the enemie hath reproched the Lorde, and the foolish people hath blasphemed thy Name.
Ps 75:4-5 : 4 I saide vnto the foolish, Be not so foolish, and to the wicked, Lift not vp the horne. 5 Lift not vp your horne on high, neither speake with a stiffe necke.
Ps 79:9-9 : 9 Helpe vs, O God of our saluation, for the glorie of thy Name, and deliuer vs, and be mercifull vnto our sinnes for thy Names sake. 10 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be knowen among the heathen in our sight by the vengeance of the blood of thy seruants that is shed.
Ps 89:50-51 : 50 Remember, O Lord, the rebuke of thy seruants, which I beare in my bosome of all the mightie people. 51 For thine enemies haue reproched thee, O Lorde, because they haue reproched the footesteps of thine Anointed.
Isa 52:5 : 5 Nowe therefore what haue I here, saith the Lorde, that my people is taken away for naught, & they that rule ouer them, make them to howle, saith the Lorde? And my Name all the day continually is blasphemed?
Ps 9:19-20 : 19 Vp Lord: let not man preuaile: let the heathen be iudged in thy sight. 20 Put them in feare, O Lorde, that the heathen may knowe that they are but men. Selah.
Ps 53:1 : 1 To him that excelleth on Mahalath. A Psalme of Dauid to giue instruction. The foole hath saide in his heart, There is no God. they haue corrupted & done abominable wickednes: there is none that doeth good.
