It is burnt with fire and cut downe: and they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.

Ps 39:11 : 11 When thou with rebukes doest chastise man for iniquitie, thou as a mothe makest his beautie to consume: surely euery man is vanitie. Selah.
Ps 76:6-7 : 6 At thy rebuke, O God of Iaakob, both the chariot and horse are cast a sleepe. 7 Thou, euen thou art to be feared: and who shall stand in thy sight, when thou art angrie!
Ps 79:5 : 5 Lord, howe long wilt thou be angrie, for euer? shall thy gelousie burne like fire?

Isa 27:11 : 11 When the boughes of it are drie, they shalbe broken: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of none vnderstading: therefore hee that made them, shall not haue compassion of them, and he that formed them, shall haue no mercie on them.
Ezek 20:47-48 : 47 And say to the forest of the South, Heare the worde of the Lord: thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall deuoure all the greene wood in thee, and all the drie wood: the continuall flame shall not bee quenched, and euery face from the South to the North shall be burnt therein. 48 And all flesh shall see, that I the Lord haue kindled it, and it shall not bee quenched.
