Verse 25

But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.

Gen 9:5-6 : 5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. 6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
Num 35:31 : 31 Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death.
Num 35:33 : 33 So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.
2 Chr 26:1 : 1 Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah.
2 Chr 34:1 : 1 Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem one and thirty years.
2 Chr 36:1 : 1 Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father's stead in Jerusalem.
