Verse 27

And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

Matt 5:22 : 22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Luke 22:66 : 66 And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,
