Verse 22

For at [that] time day by day there came to David to help him, until [it was] a great host, like the host of God.

Gen 32:2 : 2 And when Jacob saw them, he said, This [is] God's host: and he called the name of that place Mahanaim.

2 Sam 3:1 : 1 ¶ Now there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker.
