Verse 26

Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Luke 14:10 : 10 ‹But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.›
1 Cor 3:7 : 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
Gal 5:15 : 15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
Phil 2:1-3 : 1 ¶ If [there be] therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind. 3 [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
Jas 3:14-16 : 14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but [is] earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife [is], there [is] confusion and every evil work.
Jas 4:16 : 16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
1 Pet 5:5 : 5 ¶ Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all [of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
