Verse 13

Sing unto the LORD, praise ye the LORD: for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.

Ps 34:6 : 6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard [him], and saved him out of all his troubles.
Ps 69:33 : 33 For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.
Ps 109:30-31 : 30 I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude. 31 For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save [him] from those that condemn his soul.
Isa 25:4 : 4 For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones [is] as a storm [against] the wall.
Ps 72:4 : 4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
Ps 35:9-9 : 9 And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation. 10 All my bones shall say, LORD, who [is] like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him? 11 ¶ False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge [things] that I knew not.
Jas 2:5-6 : 5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? 6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
