For he performeth [the thing that is] appointed for me: and many such [things are] with him.

1 Thess 3:3 : 3 That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.
1 Thess 5:9 : 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
