For it [is] a fire [that] consumeth to destruction, and would root out all mine increase.

Prov 6:27 : 27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?
Jer 5:7-9 : 7 How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by [them that are] no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses. 8 They were [as] fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbour's wife. 9 Shall I not visit for these [things]? saith the LORD: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
Mal 3:5 : 5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in [his] wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger [from his right], and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
Heb 13:4 : 4 Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
Job 15:30 : 30 He shall not depart out of darkness; the flame shall dry up his branches, and by the breath of his mouth shall he go away.
