Verse 21

¶ This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.

Ps 130:7 : 7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD [there is] mercy, and with him [is] plenteous redemption.
Lam 3:24-29 : 24 The LORD [is] my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. 25 The LORD [is] good unto them that wait for him, to the soul [that] seeketh him. 26 [It is] good that [a man] should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. 27 [It is] good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. 28 He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne [it] upon him. 29 He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope.
Hab 2:3 : 3 For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Ps 77:7-9 : 7 Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more? 8 Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth [his] promise fail for evermore? 9 Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah. 10 And I said, This [is] my infirmity: [but I will remember] the years of the right hand of the most High. 11 ¶ I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.
Ps 119:81 : 81 ¶ CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation: [but] I hope in thy word.
