Og Moses samlet hele menigheten av Israels barn sammen og sa til dem: Dette er ordene som HERREN har befalt, at dere skal gjøre dem.

And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.

Seks dager skal arbeid gjøres, men på den syvende dagen skal det være en hellig dag for dere, en sabbat med hvile for HERREN. Den som gjør noe arbeid på den, skal dø.

Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.

Dere skal ikke tenne opp ild i noen av deres bosteder på sabbatsdagen.

Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.

Og Moses talte til hele menigheten av Israels barn, og sa: Dette er det HERREN har befalt, idet han sa,

And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,

Ta fra dere et offer til HERREN: Enhver som har et villig hjerte, la ham bringe det, som et offer til HERREN; gull, sølv og kobber,

Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,

Og blått, purpur, skarlagen, fint lin og geitehår,

And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,

Og værskinn farget røde, grevlingeskinn, og akasietre,

And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,

Og olje til lyset, krydder til salvingsoljen, og til den søte røkelsen,

And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,

Og onykssteiner og steiner til å sette for efoden og brystskjoldet.

And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.

Og enhver av dere som er vis i sitt hjerte skal komme og lage alt det HERREN har befalt;

And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded;

Tabernaklet, sitt telt og sitt dekke, sine spenner og sine planker, sine stenger, sine stolper og sine sokler,

The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,

Arken og dens stenger, med soningslokket, og forhenget til dekselet,

The ark, and the staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering,

Bordet, med sine stenger og alt tilbehør, og skuebrødet,

The table, and his staves, and all his vessels, and the shewbread,

Lysestaken for lyset, og dens innredning og lamper, med oljen til lyset,

The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,

Og røkelsesalteret, og dets stenger, og salvingsoljen, og den søte røkelsen, og forhenget til døren ved inngangen til tabernaklet,

And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,

Brandofferalteret, med sitt kobbergitter, sine stenger og alt tilbehør, kokevannet og sokkelen,

The altar of burnt offering, with his brasen grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,

Forhengene i forgården, dens stolper og sokler, og forhenget til døren av forgården,

The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,

Tapper til tabernaklet, og tapper til forgården, og deres snorer,

The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,

Tjenestedrakter, for å utføre tjeneste i det hellige stedet, de hellige klærne til Aron presten, og klærne til hans sønner, for å tjene som prester.

The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.

Og hele menigheten av Israels barn gikk bort fra Moses' nærvær.

And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.

Og de kom, alle som var villige i sitt hjerte, med all åndskraft de hadde, og de brakte et offer til HERREN, for arbeidet med møteplassen, og for all tjeneste der, og for de hellige klærne.

And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD'S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.

Og de kom, både menn og kvinner, så mange som hadde et villig hjerte, og brakte armbånd, og øreringer, og ringer, og smykker, alle slags gullsmykker: og hver mann som brakte et gulloffer til HERREN.

And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.

Og hver mann som hadde noe blått, purpur, skarlagen, fint lin, geitehår, og røde værskinn, og grevlingeskinn, brakte dem.

And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers' skins, brought them.

Enhver som brakte et sølv- eller kobberoffer brakte HERRENS offer: og hver mann som hadde akasietre til noe arbeid av tjenesten, brakte det.

Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the LORD'S offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.

Og alle kvinnene som var kloke i hjerte, spant med sine hender, og brakte det de hadde spunnet, både av blått, purpur, skarlagen og fint lin.

And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.

Og alle kvinnene som ble tiltrukket av visdom, spant geitehår.

And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair.

Og lederne brakte onykssteiner og steiner til å sette, til efoden og brystskjoldet.

And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;

Og krydderier, og olje til lyset, til salvingsoljen, og til den søte røkelsen.

And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

Israels barn brakte et frivillig offer til HERREN, hver mann og kvinne hvis hjerte fikk dem til å gi, til alt det arbeid som HERREN hadde befalt gjennom Moses' hånd.

The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

Og Moses sa til Israels barn: Se, HERREN har kalt ved navn Besalel, sønn av Uri, sønn av Hur, av Juda stamme.

And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

Og han har fylt ham med Guds ånd, med visdom, forståelse og kunnskap i all slags arbeid,

And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;

Og til å lage kunstferdige arbeider, til å arbeide i gull, sølv og kobber,

And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

Og i å skjære steiner for å sette dem, og i treskjæring for å lage alle slags kunstferdige arbeider.

And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work.

Og han har lagt i hans hjerte at han kunne undervise, både han og Oholiab, sønn av Ahisamak, av Dans stamme.

And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

Dem har han fylt med visdom i hjertet, til å utføre alt slags arbeid, av en gravør, en kunstner, en brodeur, i blått, purpur, skarlagen og fint lin, og av veveren, til å utføre all slags arbeid og de som lager kunstferdige arbeider.

Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.
