Og HERREN talte til Moses og sa:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Hvis noen synder og gjør urett mot HERREN ved å lyve for sin neste i det som ble betrodd ham å ta vare på, eller i en sak der de er i fellesskap, eller noe som er tatt fra en annen med vold, eller han har bedratt sin neste;

If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by vionce, or hath deceived his neighbour;

Eller han har funnet noe som var tapt, og løyet om det, og sverget falskt; i noen av alle disse ting som en mann gjør, og synder derved:

Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:

Da skal det være slik at fordi han har syndet og er skyldig, skal han gi tilbake det han tok med vold, eller det han bedragerisk tok, eller det som var betrodd ham, eller den tapte tingen han fant,

Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took viontly away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,

Eller noe som han har sverget falskt om; han skal gi tilbake det i sin helhet, og legge til en femtedel og gi det til den det tilhører på dagen for sitt skyldoffer.

Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.

Og han skal bringe sitt skyldoffer til HERREN, en vær uten lyte fra flokken, etter din vurdering, som skyldoffer, til presten:

And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, a ram without bmish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:

Og presten skal gjøre soning for ham foran HERREN, og han skal få tilgivelse for alt det han har gjort og syndet med.

And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.

Og HERREN talte til Moses og sa:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Gi befaling til Aron og hans sønner og si: Dette er loven om brennofferet: Det er et brennoffer fordi det brenner på alteret hele natten til morgenen, og alterets ild skal brenne på det.

Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.

Og presten skal ta på seg sin linkledde drakt og linbukser på sitt legeme og ta opp asken som ilden har forbrent med brennofferet på alteret og sette den ved siden av alteret.

And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his fsh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.

Og han skal ta av seg klærne, ta på seg andre klær, og bære asken ut av leiren til et rent sted.

And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a can place.

Og ilden på alteret skal brenne; den skal ikke slukkes. Og presten skal brenne ved på den hver morgen, legge brennofferet i orden på den, og brenne fettet av fredsofferet der.

And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

Ilden skal alltid brenne på alteret; den skal aldri slukkes.

The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

Og dette er loven om matofferet: Arons sønner skal ofre det foran HERREN, foran alteret.

And this is the law of the meat offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the LORD, before the altar.

Og han skal ta en håndfull av melofferet, og av oljen derav, og alt røkelse som er på matofferet, og brenne det på alteret som en velluktende duft, et minneoffer til HERREN.

And he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is upon the meat offering, and shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour, even the memorial of it, unto the LORD.

Og resten av det skal Aron og hans sønner spise. Det skal spises uten gjær i et hellig sted; i forgården til sammenkomstens telt skal de spise det.

And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: with unavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernac of the congregation they shall eat it.

Det skal ikke bakes med surdeig. Jeg har gitt det til dem som deres del av mine ildofre. Det er høyhellig, som syndofferet og som skyldofferet.

It shall not be baken with aven. I have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is most holy, as is the sin offering, and as the trespass offering.

Alle menn blant Arons barn skal spise det. Det skal være en evig lov for deres etterkommere om HERRENS ildofre: Den som rører ved dem, skal være hellig.

All the mas among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the LORD made by fire: every one that toucheth them shall be holy.

Og HERREN talte til Moses og sa:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Dette er Arons og hans sønners offer, som de skal ofre til HERREN på den dag han blir salvet; en tidel av en efa fint mel som et evigvarende matoffer, halvparten av det om morgenen og halvparten om kvelden.

This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the LORD in the day when he is anointed; the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meat offering perpetual, half of it in the morning, and half thereof at night.

Det skal tilberedes på en panne med olje, og når det er bakt, skal du bringe det inn. De bakte delene av matofferet skal du ofre som en velluktende duft til HERREN.

In a pan it shall be made with oil; and when it is baken, thou shalt bring it in: and the baken pieces of the meat offering shalt thou offer for a sweet savour unto the LORD.

Og presten blant hans sønner som blir salvet i hans sted, skal ofre det. Det skal være en evig lov til HERREN; det skal brennes helt.

And the priest of his sons that is anointed in his stead shall offer it: it is a statute for ever unto the LORD; it shall be wholly burnt.

For hvert matoffer for presten skal brennes helt; det skal ikke spises.

For every meat offering for the priest shall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten.

Og HERREN talte til Moses og sa:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Tal til Aron og hans sønner og si: Dette er loven om syndofferet: På det stedet hvor brennofferet blir slaktet, skal syndofferet slaktes foran HERREN. Det er høyhellig.

Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is kild shall the sin offering be kild before the LORD: it is most holy.

Presten som ofrer det for synd, skal spise det. Det skal spises i et hellig sted, i forgården til sammenkomstens telt.

The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernac of the congregation.

Alt som kommer i berøring med kjøttet derav, skal være hellig; og dersom det sprøytes blod på noen plagg, skal du vaske det det ble sprøytet på, i det hellige sted.

Whatsoever shall touch the fsh thereof shall be holy: and when there is sprinkd of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it was sprinkd in the holy place.

Men det lerkaret hvor det er kokt, skal knuses; og dersom det er kokt i en kobbergryte, skal den både skrubbes og skylles i vann.

But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a brasen pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water.

Alle menn blant prestene skal spise av det; det er høyhellig.

All the mas among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy.

Og intet syndoffer, hvorav blodet blir båret inn i sammenkomstens telt for å gjøre forsoning i det hellige sted, skal spises; det skal brennes i ild.

And no sin offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernac of the congregation to reconci withal in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be burnt in the fire.
