Og Herren talte til Moses og sa,

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Ta med deg Aron og sønnene hans, klærne, salvingsoljen, en okse for syndofferet, to værer og en kurv med usyret brød.

Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unavened bread;

Og samle hele menigheten ved inngangen til oppenbaringsteltet.

And gather thou all the congregation together unto the door of the tabernac of the congregation.

Og Moses gjorde som Herren hadde befalt ham; og menigheten ble samlet ved inngangen til oppenbaringsteltet.

And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernac of the congregation.

Og Moses sa til menigheten: Dette er det Herren har befalt å gjøre.

And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which the LORD commanded to be done.

Og Moses førte Aron og sønnene hans frem og vasket dem med vann.

And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.

Han satte kjortelen på ham, bandt beltet om ham, kledde ham i kappen, satte efoden på ham, og bandt efodens kunstferdige belte om ham og knyttet det til ham.

And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the gird, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious gird of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith.

Han satte brystskjoldet på ham, og i brystskjoldet la han Urim og Tummim.

And he put the breastplate upon him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim.

Han satte turbanen på hodet hans, og på turbanens framside satte han gullplaten, det hellige diademet, slik som Herren hadde befalt Moses.

And he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, even upon his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Moses tok salvingsoljen og salvet tabernaklet og alt som var i det, og helliget dem.

And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernac and all that was therein, and sanctified them.

Og han sprengte noe av oljen på alteret syv ganger, og salvet alteret og alt utstyret, håndfatet og sokkelen, for å hellige dem.

And he sprinkd thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them.

Moses helte så salvingsoljen over Arons hode og salvet ham, for å hellige ham.

And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.

Og Moses førte Arons sønner frem, satte kjortler på dem, bandt belter om dem og satte luer på dem, slik som Herren hadde befalt Moses.

And Moses brought Aaron's sons, and put coats upon them, and girded them with girds, and put bonnets upon them; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Han førte oksen til syndofferet frem, og Aron og sønnene la hendene på hodet til syndofferoksen.

And he brought the bullock for the sin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering.

Moses slaktet den og tok blodet, strøk det rundt alterets horn med sin finger, og renset alteret. Han helte blodet ved foten av alteret, og helliget det, for å gjøre soning på det.

And he sw it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it.

Han tok alt fettet som dekket innvollene, leverlappen og de to nyrene og deres fett, og brente det på alteret.

And he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned it upon the altar.

Men oksen, skinnet, kjøttet og avføringen brente han utenfor leiren, slik Herren hadde befalt Moses.

But the bullock, and his hide, his fsh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Han førte frem væren til brennofferet, og Aron og sønnene la hendene på hodet til væren.

And he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

Moses slaktet den og sprengte blodet rundt alteret.

And he kild it; and Moses sprinkd the blood upon the altar round about.

Han stykket væren og brente hodet, stykkene og fettet.

And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burnt the head, and the pieces, and the fat.

Han vasket innvollene og leggene med vann, og Moses brente hele væren på alteret. Det var et brennoffer som en velbehagelig duft, et ildoffer til Herren, slik som Herren hadde befalt Moses.

And he washed the inwards and the gs in water; and Moses burnt the who ram upon the altar: it was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet savour, and an offering made by fire unto the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Han førte frem den andre væren, vigslingsværen, og Aron og sønnene la hendene på hodet til væren.

And he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

Moses slaktet den og tok av blodet og satte det på øreflippen av Arons høyre øre, høyre tommel og den store tåen på høyre fot.

And he sw it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.

Han førte Arons sønner frem, og Moses satte blod på hver av deres høyre øreflipp, høyre tommel og den store tåen på høyre fot. Han sprengte blodet rundt alteret.

And he brought Aaron's sons, and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Moses sprinkd the blood upon the altar round about.

Han tok fettet, halen og alt fettet som dekket innvollene, leverlappen, de to nyrene og deres fett, og den høyre skulderen.

And he took the fat, and the rump, and all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right shoulder:

Fra kurven med usyret brød, som var foran Herren, tok han en usyret kake, en kake av oljeholdig brød og en tynn kake, og satte dem på fettet og den høyre skulderen.

And out of the basket of unavened bread, that was before the LORD, he took one unavened cake, and a cake of oid bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and upon the right shoulder:

Han la alt i hendene til Aron og sønnene hans og svingte dem som et svingningsoffer for Herren.

And he put all upon Aaron's hands, and upon his sons' hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the LORD.

Moses tok det fra hendene deres og brente det på alteret på toppen av brennofferet. Det var en vigslingsoffer som en velbehagelig duft, et ildoffer til Herren.

And Moses took them from off their hands, and burnt them on the altar upon the burnt offering: they were consecrations for a sweet savour: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

Moses tok brystet og svingte det som et svingningsoffer for Herren. Det var Moses' del av vigslingsværen, slik Herren hadde befalt Moses.

And Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD: for of the ram of consecration it was Moses' part; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Moses tok av salvingsoljen og blodet fra alteret og sprengte det på Aron og klærne hans, hans sønner og deres klær. Han helliget dermed Aron, hans klær, sønnene hans og deres klær.

And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkd it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons' garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.

Moses sa til Aron og sønnene hans: Kok kjøttet ved inngangen til oppenbaringsteltet, og spis det der med brødet fra vigslingskurven, slik jeg har befalt, og sa: Aron og hans sønner skal spise det.

And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Boil the fsh at the door of the tabernac of the congregation: and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.

Det som blir igjen av kjøttet og brødet, skal dere brenne med ild.

And that which remaineth of the fsh and of the bread shall ye burn with fire.

Dere skal ikke forlate inngangen til oppenbaringsteltet i syv dager, til deres vigslingstid er fullført; for i syv dager skal dere vigsles.

And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernac of the congregation in seven days, until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days shall he consecrate you.

Slik det er utført denne dagen, har Herren befalt å gjøre for å gi dere forsoning.

As he hath done this day, so the LORD hath commanded to do, to make an atonement for you.

Derfor skal dere være ved inngangen til oppenbaringsteltet dag og natt i syv dager, og holde Herrens befaling, for at dere ikke skal dø, for slik har jeg blitt befalt.

Therefore shall ye abide at the door of the tabernac of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for so I am commanded.

Så gjorde Aron og hans sønner alt det som Herren hadde befalt gjennom Moses.

So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
