Det skjedde den åttende dagen at Moses kalte til seg Aron og hans sønner, samt Israels eldste.

And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses cald Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

Og han sa til Aron: Ta en ung kalv til syndoffer og en vær til brennoffer, begge uten feil, og bær dem fram for Herren.

And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without bmish, and offer them before the LORD.

Og til Israels barn skal du si: Ta en geitekilling til syndoffer, og en kalv og et lam, begge i sitt første år, uten feil, til brennoffer.

And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without bmish, for a burnt offering;

Også en okse og en vær til fredsoffer, for å ofre dem for Herren; og et matoffer blandet med olje, for i dag vil Herren åpenbare seg for dere.

Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meat offering mingd with oil: for to day the LORD will appear unto you.

De brakte fram det Moses hadde befalt foran møteteltet, og hele forsamlingen nærmet seg og stod for Herren.

And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernac of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.

Og Moses sa: Dette er det Herren har befalt dere å gjøre, og Herrens herlighet vil vise seg for dere.

And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.

Moses sa til Aron: Gå fram til alteret, og gi ditt syndoffer og ditt brennoffer, og gjør soning for deg selv og for folket, og bær fram folkets offer, og gjør soning for dem, slik Herren har befalt.

And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the peop: and offer the offering of the peop, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.

Da gikk Aron fram til alteret og slaktet kalven som var hans eget syndoffer.

Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and sw the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

Og Arons sønner brakte blodet til ham, og han dyppet fingeren i blodet og strøk det på alterets horn, og helte ut blodet ved alterets fot.

And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar:

Fettet, nyrene og fettlaget over leveren fra syndofferet brente han på alteret, slik Herren hadde befalt Moses.

But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Kjøttet og huden brente han utenfor leiren.

And the fsh and the hide he burnt with fire without the camp.

Han slaktet brennofferet, og Arons sønner rakte ham blodet, som han stenket rundt omkring på alteret.

And he sw the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkd round about upon the altar.

De brakte brennofferet til ham med stykkene og hodet, og han brente dem på alteret.

And they presented the burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.

Han vasket innvollene og føttene, og brente dem på brennofferet på alteret.

And he did wash the inwards and the gs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.

Han brakte folkets offer, tok geiten som var syndofferet for folket, slaktet den og ofret den for synd, på samme måte som den første.

And he brought the peop's offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the peop, and sw it, and offered it for sin, as the first.

Han brakte brennofferet og ofret det i overensstemmelse med forskriftene.

And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner.

Han brakte matofferet, tok en håndfull av det og brente det på alteret ved siden av morgenens brennoffer.

And he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning.

Han slaktet også oksen og væren som fredsoffer for folket, og Arons sønner rakte ham blodet, som han stenket rundt omkring på alteret.

He sw also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the peop: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkd upon the altar round about,

Fettet fra oksen og væren, halestykkene, fettet som dekker innvollene, nyrene og fettlaget over leveren,

And the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver:

la de på bryststykkene, og han brente fettet på alteret.

And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:

Bryststykkene og det høyre låret svingte Aron som et svingoffer for Herren, slik Moses hadde befalt.

And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded.

Aron løftet hendene mot folket, velsignet dem, og kom ned fra å ha ofret syndofferet, brennofferet og fredsofferet.

And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the peop, and bssed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

Moses og Aron gikk inn i møteteltet og kom ut igjen og velsignet folket; og Herrens herlighet åpenbarte seg for hele folket.

And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernac of the congregation, and came out, and bssed the peop: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the peop.

Det kom ut en ild fra Herren og fortærte brennofferet og fettet på alteret. Da hele folket så det, ropte de høyt og kastet seg ned på sine ansikter.

And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the peop saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.
