Lov Herren! Lov Gud i hans helligdom, lov ham i hans mektige hvelving.

Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

Lov ham for hans mektige gjerninger, lov ham etter hans storslagne storhet.

Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Lov ham med lyden av trompet, lov ham med harpe og lyre.

Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the altery and harp.

Lov ham med tamburin og dans, lov ham med strengeinstrumenter og fløyter.

Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

Lov ham med klingende cymbaler, lov ham med høye lydende cymbaler.

Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
