And they that dwell upon the earth shall joice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

Etter tre og en halv dag kom livets ånd fra Gud inn i dem, og de reiste seg opp, og stor frykt falt over dem som så dem.

And after the days and an half the Spirit of life from God ented into them, and they stood upon their feet; and gat fear fell upon them which saw them.

Derpå hørte de en mektig røst fra himmelen som sa til dem: Kom opp hit. De steg opp til himmelen i en sky, og deres fiender så dem.

And they heard a gat voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Samme time var det et stort jordskjelv, og en tidel av byen falt. I jordskjelvet ble sju tusen mennesker drept, og de som overlevde ble vettskremt og gav ære til himmelens Gud.

And the same hour was the a gat earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake we slain of men seven thousand: and the mnant we affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

And the nations we angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give ward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and gat; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
