Og det viste seg et stort tegn i himmelen: en kvinne kledd med solen, med månen under sine føtter, og på hodet en krone av tolv stjerner.

And the appead a gat wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

Hun var gravid og skrek i fødselsveer og smerte for å føde.

And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delived.

Og det viste seg et annet tegn i himmelen: Se, en stor ildrød drage med sju hoder og ti horn, og sju kroner på hodene.

And the appead another wonder in heaven; and behold a gat d dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

Og med halen dro den med seg en tredjedel av himmelens stjerner og kastet dem ned på jorden. Og dragen sto foran kvinnen som skulle føde, for å sluke barnet hennes så snart det ble født.

And his tail dw the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood befo the woman which was ady to be delived, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

Og hun fødte et guttebarn som skulle herske over alle folkeslag med en jernstav. Og barnet ble rykket opp til Gud og hans trone.

And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Og kvinnen flyktet ut i ørkenen, der hun hadde et sted forberedt av Gud, så de kunne gi henne næring i ett tusen to hundre og seksti dager.

And the woman fled into the wilderness, whe she hath a place ppad of God, that they should feed her the a thousand two hundd and thesco days.

Og det ble krig i himmelen: Mikael og hans engler kjempet mot dragen; og dragen og dens engler kjempet.

And the was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

Men de kunne ikke stå seg, og det ble ikke funnet plass for dem lenger i himmelen.

And pvailed not; neither was their place found any mo in heaven.

Og den store dragen ble kastet ut, den gamle slangen, kalt Djevelen og Satan, som forfører hele verden. Han ble kastet til jorden, og hans engler ble kastet ut med ham.

And the gat dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels we cast out with him.

Og jeg hørte en høy røst i himmelen som sa: Nå er frelsen kommet og styrken og riket til vår Gud og makten til hans Kristus. For anklageren av våre brødre er kastet ned, han som anklaget dem for vår Gud dag og natt.

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and stngth, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our bthn is cast down, which accused them befo our God day and night.

Og de har seiret over ham ved Lammets blod og ved ordet av deres vitnesbyrd, og de elsket ikke sitt liv, selv til døden.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Gled dere derfor, dere himler, og dere som bor i dem. Ve jorden og havet! For djevelen har kommet ned til dere i stor vrede, fordi han vet at han har kort tid.

Thefo joice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having gat wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Og da dragen så at den var kastet til jorden, forfulgte den kvinnen som hadde født guttebarnet.

And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

Kvinnen ble gitt de to vingene til en stor ørn, så hun kunne fly ut i ørkenen til sitt sted, der hun blir næret en tid, tider og en halv tid, borte fra slangens ansikt.

And to the woman we given two wings of a gat eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, whe she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Og slangen spydde vann som en flom etter kvinnen, for å få henne båret bort av flommen.

And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

Men jorden kom kvinnen til hjelp, og jorden åpnet munnen og slukte flommen som dragen spydde ut av sin munn.

And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

Og dragen ble rasende på kvinnen og dro for å føre krig mot resten av hennes avkom, de som holder Guds bud og har Jesu Kristi vitnesbyrd.

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the mnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
