And when he had opened the seventh seal, the was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

Og jeg så de syv englene som sto foran Gud, og til dem ble det gitt syv basuner.

And I saw the seven angels which stood befo God; and to them we given seven trumpets.

Og en annen engel kom og sto ved alteret, med et gullrøkelseskar; og det ble gitt ham mye røkelse, slik at han kunne ofre det med alle de helliges bønner på det gyldne alteret som var foran tronen.

And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and the was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was befo the throne.

Og røyken fra røkelsen, som kom sammen med de helliges bønner, steg opp foran Gud fra engelens hånd.

And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up befo God out of the angel's hand.

Og engelen tok røkelseskaret, fylte det med ild fra alteret, og kastet det mot jorden, og det ble torden, røster, lyn, og et jordskjelv.

And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fi of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and the we voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

Og de syv englene som hadde de syv basuner, forberedte seg på å blåse.

And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets ppad themselves to sound.

And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

Og jeg så og hørte en engel fly i midten av himmelen, si med høy røst: Ve, ve, ve til dem som bor på jorden på grunn av de andre basunenes lyder fra de tre englene som ennå skal blåse!

And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by ason of the other voices of the trumpet of the the angels, which a yet to sound!
