Verse 3

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

2 Tim 2:3-4 : 3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
1 Pet 4:1-2 : 1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
1 Tim 1:18 : 18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
2 Tim 4:7 : 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Rom 8:13 : 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye thugh the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
2 Cor 10:4 : 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Gal 2:20 : 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and ve himself for me.
Heb 12:1 : 1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
