Verse 17

And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

Exod 3:2 : 2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
Heb 12:29 : 29 For our God is a consuming fire.
Heb 12:18 : 18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
Deut 4:36 : 36 Out of heaven he ma thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou hearst his words out of the midst of the fire.
Exod 19:18 : 18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
