Verse 17

For, behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices, among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall bite you, saith the LORD.

Deut 32:24 : 24 They shall be burnt with hunger, and voured with burning heat, and with bitter struction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.
Ps 58:4-5 : 4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear; 5 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
Eccl 10:11 : 11 Surely the serpent will bite without enchantment; and a babbler is no better.
Num 21:6 : 6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Isa 14:29 : 29 Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.
