And Solomon{H8010} made affinity{H2859}{(H8691)} with Pharaoh{H6547} king{H4428} of Egypt{H4714}, and took{H3947}{(H8799)} Pharaoh's{H6547} daughter{H1323}, and brought{H935}{(H8686)} her into the city{H5892} of David{H1732}, until he had made an end{H3615}{(H8763)} of building{H1129}{(H8800)} his own house{H1004}, and the house{H1004} of the LORD{H3068}, and the wall{H2346} of Jerusalem{H3389} round about{H5439}.

and ten{H6235} cubits{H520} was the breadth{H7341} thereof before the house{H1004}. 4 And for the house{H1004} he made{H6213}{(H8799)} windows{H2474} of narrow{H331}{(H8801)} lights{H8261}. 5 And against the wall{H7023} of the house{H1004} he built{H1129}{(H8799)} chambers{H3326}{(H8675)}{H3326} round about{H5439}, against the walls{H7023} of the house{H1004} round about{H5439}, both of the temple{H1964} and of the oracle{H1687}: and he made{H6213}{(H8799)} chambers{H6763} round about{H5439}: 6 The nethermost{H8481} chamber{H3326}{(H8675)}{H3326} was five{H2568} cubits{H520} broad{H7341}, and the middle{H8484} was six{H8337} cubits{H520} broad{H7341}, and the third{H7992} was seven{H7651} cubits{H520} broad{H7341}: for without in the wall of{H2351} the house{H1004} he made{H5414}{(H8804)} narrowed rests{H4052} round about{H5439}, that the beams should not be fastened{H270}{(H8800)} in the walls{H7023} of the house{H1004}. 7 And the house{H1004}, when it was in building{H1129}{(H8736)}, was built{H1129}{(H8738)} of stone{H68} made ready{H8003} before it was brought{H4551} thither: so that there was neither hammer{H4717} nor axe{H1631} nor any tool{H3627} of iron{H1270} heard{H8085}{(H8738)} in the house{H1004}, while it was in building{H1129}{(H8736)}. 8 The door{H6607} for the middle{H8484} chamber{H6763} was in the right{H3233} side{H3802} of the house{H1004}: and they went up{H5927}{(H8799)} with winding stairs{H3883} into the middle{H8484} chamber, and out of the middle{H8484} into the third{H7992}. 9 So he built{H1129}{(H8799)} the house{H1004}, and finished{H3615}{(H8762)} it; and covered{H5603}{(H8799)} the house{H1004} with beams{H1356} and boards{H7713} of cedar{H730}. 10 And then he built{H1129}{(H8799)} chambers{H3326}{(H8675)}{H3326} against all the house{H1004}, five{H2568} cubits{H520} high{H6967}: and they rested{H270}{(H8799)} on the house{H1004} with timber{H6086} of cedar{H730}. 11 And the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068} came to Solomon{H8010}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 12 Concerning this house{H1004} which thou art in building{H1129}{(H8802)}, if thou wilt walk{H3212}{(H8799)} in my statutes{H2708}, and execute{H6213}{(H8799)} my judgments{H4941}, and keep{H8104}{(H8804)} all my commandments{H4687} to walk{H3212}{(H8800)} in them; then will I perform{H6965}{(H8689)} my word{H1697} with thee, which I spake{H1696}{(H8765)} unto David{H1732} thy father{H1}: 13 And I will dwell{H7931}{(H8804)} among{H8432} the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478}, and will not forsake{H5800}{(H8799)} my people{H5971} Israel{H3478}. 14 So Solomon{H8010} built{H1129}{(H8799)} the house{H1004}, and finished{H3615}{(H8762)} it. 15 And he built{H1129}{(H8799)} the walls{H7023} of the house{H1004} within{H1004} with boards{H6763} of cedar{H730}, both the floor{H7172} of the house{H1004}, and the walls{H7023} of the cieling{H5604}: and he covered{H6823}{(H8765)} them on the inside{H1004} with wood{H6086}, and covered{H6823}{(H8762)} the floor{H7172} of the house{H1004} with planks{H6763} of fir{H1265}. 16 And he built{H1129}{(H8799)} twenty{H6242} cubits{H520} on the sides{H3411} of the house{H1004}, both{H4480} the floor{H7172} and the walls{H7023} with boards{H6763} of cedar{H730}: he even built{H1129}{(H8799)} them for it within{H1004}, even for the oracle{H1687}, even for the most{H6944} holy{H6944} place. 17 And the house{H1004}, that is, the temple{H1964} before{H3942} it, was forty{H705} cubits{H520} long. 18 And the cedar{H730} of the house{H1004} within{H6441} was carved{H4734} with knops{H6497} and open{H6362}{(H8803)} flowers{H6731}: all was cedar{H730}; there was no stone{H68} seen{H7200}{(H8738)}. 19 And the oracle{H1687} he prepared{H3559}{(H8689)} in{H8432} the house{H1004} within{H6441}, to set{H5414}{(H8800)} there the ark{H727} of the covenant{H1285} of the LORD{H3068}. 20 And the oracle{H1687} in the forepart{H6440} was twenty{H6242} cubits{H520} in length{H753}, and twenty{H6242} cubits{H520} in breadth{H7341}, and twenty{H6242} cubits{H520} in the height{H6967} thereof: and he overlaid{H6823}{(H8762)} it with pure{H5462}{(H8803)} gold{H2091}; and so covered{H6823}{(H8762)} the altar{H4196} which was of cedar{H730}. 21 So Solomon{H8010} overlaid{H6823}{(H8762)} the house{H1004} within{H6441} with pure{H5462}{(H8803)} gold{H2091}: and he made a partition{H5674}{(H8762)} by the chains{H7572}{(H8675)}{H7572} of gold{H2091} before{H6440} the oracle{H1687}; and he overlaid{H6823}{(H8762)} it with gold{H2091}. 22 And the whole house{H1004} he overlaid{H6823}{(H8765)} with gold{H2091}, until he had finished{H8552}{(H8800)} all the house{H1004}: also the whole altar{H4196} that was by the oracle{H1687} he overlaid{H6823}{(H8765)} with gold{H2091}. 23 And within the oracle{H1687} he made{H6213}{(H8799)} two{H8147} cherubims{H3742} of olive{H8081} tree{H6086}, each ten{H6235} cubits{H520} high{H6967}. 24 And five{H2568} cubits{H520} was the one{H259} wing{H3671} of the cherub{H3742}, and five{H2568} cubits{H520} the other{H8145} wing{H3671} of the cherub{H3742}: from the uttermost part{H7098} of the one wing{H3671} unto the uttermost part{H7098} of the other{H3671} were ten{H6235} cubits{H520}. 25 And the other{H8145} cherub{H3742} was ten{H6235} cubits{H520}: both{H8147} the cherubims{H3742} were of one{H259} measure{H4060} and one{H259} size{H7095}. 26 The height{H6967} of the one{H259} cherub{H3742} was ten{H6235} cubits{H520}, and so was it of the other{H8145} cherub{H3742}. 27 And he set{H5414}{(H8799)} the cherubims{H3742} within{H8432} the inner{H6442} house{H1004}: and they stretched forth{H6566}{(H8799)} the wings{H3671} of the cherubims{H3742}, so that the wing{H3671} of the one{H259} touched{H5060}{(H8799)} the one wall{H7023}, and the wing{H3671} of the other{H8145} cherub{H3742} touched{H5060}{(H8802)} the other{H8145} wall{H7023}; and their wings{H3671} touched{H5060}{(H8802)} one{H3671} another{H3671} in the midst{H8432} of the house{H1004}. 28 And he overlaid{H6823}{(H8762)} the cherubims{H3742} with gold{H2091}. 29 And he carved{H7049}{(H8804)} all the walls{H7023} of the house{H1004} round about{H4524} with carved{H6603} figures{H4734} of cherubims{H3742} and palm trees{H8561} and open{H6362}{(H8803)} flowers{H6731}, within{H6441} and without{H2435}. 30 And the floor{H7172} of the house{H1004} he overlaid{H6823}{(H8765)} with gold{H2091}, within{H6441} and without{H2435}. 31 And for the entering{H6607} of the oracle{H1687} he made{H6213}{(H8804)} doors{H1817} of olive{H8081} tree{H6086}: the lintel{H352} and side posts{H4201} were a fifth part{H2549} of the wall. 32 The two{H8147} doors{H1817} also were of olive{H8081} tree{H6086}; and he carved{H7049}{(H8804)} upon them carvings{H4734} of cherubims{H3742} and palm trees{H8561} and open{H6362}{(H8803)} flowers{H6731}, and overlaid{H6823}{(H8765)} them with gold{H2091}, and spread{H7286}{(H8686)} gold{H2091} upon the cherubims{H3742}, and upon the palm trees{H8561}. 33 So also made{H6213}{(H8804)} he for the door{H6607} of the temple{H1964} posts{H4201} of olive{H8081} tree{H6086}, a fourth part{H7243} of the wall. 34 And the two{H8147} doors{H1817} were of fir{H1265} tree{H6086}: the two{H8147} leaves{H6763} of the one{H259} door{H1817} were folding{H1550}, and the two{H8147} leaves{H7050} of the other{H8145} door{H1817} were folding{H1550}. 35 And he carved{H7049}{(H8804)} thereon cherubims{H3742} and palm trees{H8561} and open{H6362}{(H8803)} flowers{H6731}: and covered{H6823}{(H8765)} them with gold{H2091} fitted{H3474}{(H8794)} upon the carved work{H2707}{(H8794)}. 36 And he built{H1129}{(H8799)} the inner{H6442} court{H2691} with three{H7969} rows{H2905} of hewed stone{H1496}, and a row{H2905} of cedar{H730} beams{H3773}. 37 In the fourth{H7243} year{H8141} was the foundation{H3245} of the house{H1004} of the LORD{H3068} laid{H3245}{(H8795)}, in the month{H3391} Zif{H2099}: 38 And in the eleventh{H259}{H6240} year{H8141}, in the month{H3391} Bul{H945}, which is the eighth{H8066} month{H2320}, was the house{H1004} finished{H3615}{(H8804)} throughout all the parts{H1697} thereof, and according to all the fashion{H4941} of it. So was he seven{H7651} years{H8141} in building{H1129}{(H8799)} it. 1 But Solomon{H8010} was building{H1129}{(H8804)} his own house{H1004} thirteen{H7969}{H6240} years{H8141}, and he finished{H3615}{(H8762)} all his house{H1004}. 2 He built{H1129}{(H8799)} also the house{H1004} of the forest{H3293} of Lebanon{H3844}; the length{H753} thereof was an hundred{H3967} cubits{H520}, and the breadth{H7341} thereof fifty{H2572} cubits{H520}, and the height{H6967} thereof thirty{H7970} cubits{H520}, upon four{H702} rows{H2905} of cedar{H730} pillars{H5982}, with cedar{H730} beams{H3773} upon the pillars{H5982}. 3 And it was covered{H5603}{(H8803)} with cedar{H730} above{H4605} upon the beams{H6763}, that lay on forty{H705} five{H2568} pillars{H5982}, fifteen{H6240} in a row{H2905}. 4 And there were windows{H8261} in three{H7969} rows{H2905}, and light{H4237} was against light{H4237} in three{H7969} ranks{H6471}. 5 And all the doors{H6607} and posts{H4201} were square{H7251}{(H8803)}, with the windows{H8260}: and light{H4237} was against{H4136} light{H4237} in three{H7969} ranks{H6471}. 6 And he made{H6213}{(H8804)} a porch{H197} of pillars{H5982}; the length{H753} thereof was fifty{H2572} cubits{H520}, and the breadth{H7341} thereof thirty{H7970} cubits{H520}: and the porch{H197} was before{H6440} them: and the other pillars{H5982} and the thick beam{H5646} were before them. 7 Then he made{H6213}{(H8804)} a porch{H197} for the throne{H3678} where he might judge{H8199}{(H8799)}, even the porch{H197} of judgment{H4941}: and it was covered{H5603}{(H8803)} with cedar{H730} from one side of the floor{H7172} to the other{H7172}. 8 And his house{H1004} where he dwelt{H3427}{(H8799)} had another{H312} court{H2691} within{H1004} the porch{H197}, which was of the like work{H4639}. Solomon{H8010} made{H6213}{(H8799)} also an house{H1004} for Pharaoh's{H6547} daughter{H1323}, whom he had taken{H3947}{(H8804)} to wife, like unto this porch{H197}. 9 All these were of costly{H3368} stones{H68}, according to the measures{H4060} of hewed stones{H1496}, sawed{H1641}{(H8775)} with saws{H4050}, within{H1004} and without{H2351}, even from the foundation{H4527} unto the coping{H2947}, and so on the outside{H2351} toward the great{H1419} court{H2691}. 10 And the foundation{H3245}{(H8794)} was of costly{H3368} stones{H68}, even great{H1419} stones{H68}, stones{H68} of ten{H6235} cubits{H520}, and stones{H68} of eight{H8083} cubits{H520}. 11 And above{H4605} were costly{H3368} stones{H68}, after the measures{H4060} of hewed stones{H1496}, and cedars{H730}. 12 And the great{H1419} court{H2691} round about{H5439} was with three{H7969} rows{H2905} of hewed stones{H1496}, and a row{H2905} of cedar{H730} beams{H3773}, both for the inner{H6442} court{H2691} of the house{H1004} of the LORD{H3068}, and for the porch{H197} of the house{H1004}. 13 And king{H4428} Solomon{H8010} sent{H7971}{(H8799)} and fetched{H3947}{(H8799)} Hiram{H2438} out of Tyre{H6865}. 14 He was a widow's{H802}{H490} son{H1121} of the tribe{H4294} of Naphtali{H5321}, and his father{H1} was a man{H376} of Tyre{H6876}, a worker{H2790}{(H8802)} in brass{H5178}: and he was filled{H4390}{(H8735)} with wisdom{H2451}, and understanding{H8394}, and cunning{H1847} to work{H6213}{(H8800)} all works{H4399} in brass{H5178}. And he came{H935}{(H8799)} to king{H4428} Solomon{H8010}, and wrought{H6213}{(H8799)} all his work{H4399}. 15 For he cast{H6696}{(H8799)} two{H8147} pillars{H5982} of brass{H5178}, of eighteen{H8083}{H6240} cubits{H520} high{H6967} apiece{H5982}{H259}: and a line{H2339} of twelve{H8147}{H6240} cubits{H520} did compass{H5437} either{H8145} of them about{H5437}{(H8799)}.
1 Kgs 9:15-19 : 15 And this is the reason{H1697} of the levy{H4522} which king{H4428} Solomon{H8010} raised{H5927}{(H8689)}; for to build{H1129}{(H8800)} the house{H1004} of the LORD{H3068}, and his own house{H1004}, and Millo{H4407}, and the wall{H2346} of Jerusalem{H3389}, and Hazor{H2674}, and Megiddo{H4023}, and Gezer{H1507}. 16 For Pharaoh{H6547} king{H4428} of Egypt{H4714} had gone up{H5927}{(H8804)}, and taken{H3920}{(H8799)} Gezer{H1507}, and burnt{H8313}{(H8799)} it with fire{H784}, and slain{H2026}{(H8804)} the Canaanites{H3669} that dwelt{H3427}{(H8802)} in the city{H5892}, and given{H5414}{(H8799)} it for a present{H7964} unto his daughter{H1323}, Solomon's{H8010} wife{H802}. 17 And Solomon{H8010} built{H1129}{(H8799)} Gezer{H1507}, and Bethhoron{H1032} the nether{H8481}, 18 And Baalath{H1191}, and Tadmor{H8412} in the wilderness{H4057}, in the land{H776}, 19 And all the cities{H5892} of store{H4543} that Solomon{H8010} had, and cities{H5892} for his chariots{H7393}, and cities{H5892} for his horsemen{H6571}, and that{H2837} which Solomon{H8010} desired{H2836}{(H8804)} to build{H1129}{(H8800)} in Jerusalem{H3389}, and in Lebanon{H3844}, and in all the land{H776} of his dominion{H4475}.
1 Kgs 11:1 : 1 But king{H4428} Solomon{H8010} loved{H157}{(H8804)} many{H7227} strange{H5237} women{H802}, together with the daughter{H1323} of Pharaoh{H6547}, women of the Moabites{H4125}, Ammonites{H5984}, Edomites{H130}, Zidonians{H6722}, and Hittites{H2850};
1 Chr 11:7 : 7 And David{H1732} dwelt{H3427}{(H8799)} in the castle{H4679}; therefore they called{H7121}{(H8804)} it the city{H5892} of David{H1732}.
2 Chr 2:1-4 : 1 And Solomon{H8010} determined{H559}{(H8799)} to build{H1129}{(H8800)} an house{H1004} for the name{H8034} of the LORD{H3068}, and an house{H1004} for his kingdom{H4438}. 2 And Solomon{H8010} told out{H5608}{(H8799)} threescore and ten{H7657} thousand{H505} men{H376} to bear burdens{H5449}, and fourscore{H8084} thousand{H505}{H376} to hew{H2672}{(H8802)} in the mountain{H2022}, and three{H7969} thousand{H505} and six{H8337} hundred{H3967} to oversee{H5329}{(H8764)} them. 3 And Solomon{H8010} sent{H7971}{(H8799)} to Huram{H2361} the king{H4428} of Tyre{H6865}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, As thou didst deal{H6213}{(H8804)} with David{H1732} my father{H1}, and didst send{H7971}{(H8799)} him cedars{H730} to build{H1129}{(H8800)} him an house{H1004} to dwell{H3427}{(H8800)} therein, even so deal with me. 4 Behold, I build{H1129}{(H8802)} an house{H1004} to the name{H8034} of the LORD{H3068} my God{H430}, to dedicate{H6942}{(H8687)} it to him, and to burn{H6999}{(H8687)} before{H6440} him sweet{H5561} incense{H7004}, and for the continual{H8548} shewbread{H4635}, and for the burnt offerings{H5930} morning{H1242} and evening{H6153}, on the sabbaths{H7676}, and on the new moons{H2320}, and on the solemn feasts{H4150} of the LORD{H3068} our God{H430}. This is an ordinance for ever{H5769} to Israel{H3478}.
2 Chr 8:11 : 11 And Solomon{H8010} brought up{H5927}{(H8689)} the daughter{H1323} of Pharaoh{H6547} out of the city{H5892} of David{H1732} unto the house{H1004} that he had built{H1129}{(H8804)} for her: for he said{H559}{(H8804)}, My wife{H802} shall not dwell{H3427}{(H8799)} in the house{H1004} of David{H1732} king{H4428} of Israel{H3478}, because the places are holy{H6944}, whereunto the ark{H727} of the LORD{H3068} hath come{H935}{(H8804)}.

Ezra 9:14 : 14 Should we again{H7725}{(H8799)} break{H6565}{(H8687)} thy commandments{H4687}, and join in affinity{H2859}{(H8692)} with the people{H5971} of these abominations{H8441}? wouldest not thou be angry{H599}{(H8799)} with us till thou hadst consumed{H3615}{(H8763)} us, so that there should be no remnant{H7611} nor escaping{H6413}?
