Verse 1

And Samuel{H8050} died{H4191}{(H8799)}; and all the Israelites{H3478} were gathered together{H6908}{(H8735)}, and lamented{H5594}{(H8799)} him, and buried{H6912}{(H8799)} him in his house{H1004} at Ramah{H7414}. And David{H1732} arose{H6965}{(H8799)}, and went down{H3381}{(H8799)} to the wilderness{H4057} of Paran{H6290}.
