Verse 1

Then Solomon{H8010} began{H2490}{(H8686)} to build{H1129}{(H8800)} the house{H1004} of the LORD{H3068} at Jerusalem{H3389} in mount{H2022} Moriah{H4179}, where the LORD appeared{H7200}{(H8738)} unto David{H1732} his father{H1}, in the place{H4725} that David{H1732} had prepared{H3559}{(H8689)} in the threshingfloor{H1637} of Ornan{H771} the Jebusite{H2983}.

2 Sam 24:18-25 : 18 And Gad{H1410} came{H935}{(H8799)} that day{H3117} to David{H1732}, and said{H559}{(H8799)} unto him, Go up{H5927}{(H8798)}, rear{H6965}{(H8685)} an altar{H4196} unto the LORD{H3068} in the threshingfloor{H1637} of Araunah{H728} the Jebusite{H2983}. 19 And David{H1732}, according to the saying{H1697} of Gad{H1410}, went up{H5927}{(H8799)} as the LORD{H3068} commanded{H6680}{(H8765)}. 20 And Araunah{H728} looked{H8259}{(H8686)}, and saw{H7200}{(H8799)} the king{H4428} and his servants{H5650} coming on{H5674}{(H8802)} toward him: and Araunah{H728} went out{H3318}{(H8799)}, and bowed{H7812}{(H8691)} himself before the king{H4428} on his face{H639} upon the ground{H776}. 21 And Araunah{H728} said{H559}{(H8799)}, Wherefore is my lord{H113} the king{H4428} come{H935}{(H8804)} to his servant{H5650}? And David{H1732} said{H559}{(H8799)}, To buy{H7069}{(H8800)} the threshingfloor{H1637} of thee, to build{H1129}{(H8800)} an altar{H4196} unto the LORD{H3068}, that the plague{H4046} may be stayed{H6113}{(H8735)} from the people{H5971}. 22 And Araunah{H728} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto David{H1732}, Let my lord{H113} the king{H4428} take{H3947}{(H8799)} and offer up{H5927}{(H8686)} what seemeth good{H2896} unto him{H5869}: behold{H7200}{(H8798)}, here be oxen{H1241} for burnt sacrifice{H5930}, and threshing instruments{H4173} and other instruments{H3627} of the oxen{H1241} for wood{H6086}. 23 All these things did Araunah{H728}, as a king{H4428}, give{H5414}{(H8804)} unto the king{H4428}. And Araunah{H728} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto the king{H4428}, The LORD{H3068} thy God{H430} accept{H7521}{(H8799)} thee. 24 And the king{H4428} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Araunah{H728}, Nay; but I will surely{H7069}{(H8800)} buy{H7069}{(H8799)} it of thee at a price{H4242}: neither will I offer{H5927}{(H8686)} burnt offerings{H5930} unto the LORD{H3068} my God{H430} of that which doth cost me nothing{H2600}. So David{H1732} bought{H7069}{(H8799)} the threshingfloor{H1637} and the oxen{H1241} for fifty{H2572} shekels{H8255} of silver{H3701}. 25 And David{H1732} built{H1129}{(H8799)} there an altar{H4196} unto the LORD{H3068}, and offered{H5927}{(H8686)} burnt offerings{H5930} and peace offerings{H8002}. So the LORD{H3068} was intreated{H6279}{(H8735)} for the land{H776}, and the plague{H4046} was stayed{H6113}{(H8735)} from Israel{H3478}.
1 Kgs 6:1-9 : 1 And it came to pass in the four{H702} hundred{H3967}{H8141} and eightieth{H8084} year{H8141} after the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} were come out{H3318}{(H8800)} of the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, in the fourth{H7243} year{H8141} of Solomon's{H8010} reign{H4427}{(H8800)} over Israel{H3478}, in the month{H2320} Zif{H2099}, which is the second{H8145} month{H2320}, that he began to build{H1129}{(H8799)} the house{H1004} of the LORD{H3068}. 2 And the house{H1004} which king{H4428} Solomon{H8010} built{H1129}{(H8804)} for the LORD{H3068}, the length{H753} thereof was threescore{H8346} cubits{H520}, and the breadth{H7341} thereof twenty{H6242} cubits, and the height{H6967} thereof thirty{H7970} cubits{H520}. 3 And the porch{H197} before{H6440} the temple{H1964} of the house{H1004}, twenty{H6242} cubits{H520} was the length{H753} thereof, according to the breadth{H7341} of the house{H1004}; and ten{H6235} cubits{H520} was the breadth{H7341} thereof before the house{H1004}. 4 And for the house{H1004} he made{H6213}{(H8799)} windows{H2474} of narrow{H331}{(H8801)} lights{H8261}. 5 And against the wall{H7023} of the house{H1004} he built{H1129}{(H8799)} chambers{H3326}{(H8675)}{H3326} round about{H5439}, against the walls{H7023} of the house{H1004} round about{H5439}, both of the temple{H1964} and of the oracle{H1687}: and he made{H6213}{(H8799)} chambers{H6763} round about{H5439}: 6 The nethermost{H8481} chamber{H3326}{(H8675)}{H3326} was five{H2568} cubits{H520} broad{H7341}, and the middle{H8484} was six{H8337} cubits{H520} broad{H7341}, and the third{H7992} was seven{H7651} cubits{H520} broad{H7341}: for without in the wall of{H2351} the house{H1004} he made{H5414}{(H8804)} narrowed rests{H4052} round about{H5439}, that the beams should not be fastened{H270}{(H8800)} in the walls{H7023} of the house{H1004}. 7 And the house{H1004}, when it was in building{H1129}{(H8736)}, was built{H1129}{(H8738)} of stone{H68} made ready{H8003} before it was brought{H4551} thither: so that there was neither hammer{H4717} nor axe{H1631} nor any tool{H3627} of iron{H1270} heard{H8085}{(H8738)} in the house{H1004}, while it was in building{H1129}{(H8736)}. 8 The door{H6607} for the middle{H8484} chamber{H6763} was in the right{H3233} side{H3802} of the house{H1004}: and they went up{H5927}{(H8799)} with winding stairs{H3883} into the middle{H8484} chamber, and out of the middle{H8484} into the third{H7992}. 9 So he built{H1129}{(H8799)} the house{H1004}, and finished{H3615}{(H8762)} it; and covered{H5603}{(H8799)} the house{H1004} with beams{H1356} and boards{H7713} of cedar{H730}. 10 And then he built{H1129}{(H8799)} chambers{H3326}{(H8675)}{H3326} against all the house{H1004}, five{H2568} cubits{H520} high{H6967}: and they rested{H270}{(H8799)} on the house{H1004} with timber{H6086} of cedar{H730}. 11 And the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068} came to Solomon{H8010}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 12 Concerning this house{H1004} which thou art in building{H1129}{(H8802)}, if thou wilt walk{H3212}{(H8799)} in my statutes{H2708}, and execute{H6213}{(H8799)} my judgments{H4941}, and keep{H8104}{(H8804)} all my commandments{H4687} to walk{H3212}{(H8800)} in them; then will I perform{H6965}{(H8689)} my word{H1697} with thee, which I spake{H1696}{(H8765)} unto David{H1732} thy father{H1}: 13 And I will dwell{H7931}{(H8804)} among{H8432} the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478}, and will not forsake{H5800}{(H8799)} my people{H5971} Israel{H3478}. 14 So Solomon{H8010} built{H1129}{(H8799)} the house{H1004}, and finished{H3615}{(H8762)} it.
1 Chr 22:1 : 1 Then David{H1732} said{H559}{(H8799)}, This is the house{H1004} of the LORD{H3068} God{H430}, and this is the altar{H4196} of the burnt offering{H5930} for Israel{H3478}.
